ahh...well as I am about to say what I'm sure everyone else will say.

First off...if this is daily, Fi reccomends not using the extreme leads due to you'd probably hear tinsel slap. Thats more of an SPL burp option

Second...the RMS is 1000 watts, but if u get the full daily options you can feed them a bit more. They're tough subs

Thirdly...box size and tuning depends on what you want. But a good starting place is Fi's reccomendation of 2.8-4 cubic feet @ 28-37Hz per sub

What sort of scenario are these going to be used and we can help ya out more i'm sure.

Agreed with above... dont do the extreme leads for daily. And the pole chamfer is included with the cooling package as well.

Most people tend to run about 1500W to a BL with cooling and the flatwind. There are those that run more or less as well, but it depends on your setup and abilities to get things dialed in correctly as well.

7-8 cuft tuned to 33 makes for a good daily driver that drops deep and still hits solid.

Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

Thanks,

Scott

what kind of music do you listen to? this can determine where to tune your box, i love really deep bass and listening to rap, so i tuned mine to 28hz and it drops like a mofo! but i don't necessarily recommend tuning that low, not the best for everyone. here's a couple amps to keep in mind if you want to power both with one amp.

sundown audio saz-3000d

rockford fosgate t4000.1bd

just depends on how loud you want it, and if you plan on ever going to a competition.

and for size of box, well i like big ported boxes and moving lots of air, but just tell us exactly what you want the system to do and Scott or someone else can probably design a better box then I can.

Ya i changed my mind so i am not going to get extreme leads. i have an 88 s10 with a blowthrough so i have like 25 cubes of space to work with. im looking for spl. something that gets real low and hits hard.

Ive been thinking about getting a Kole Audio KX1-5500D for the amp. is 1600 rms too much for a single Bl?

i listen mostly to rap and occasionally a little country. ive been thinking about tuning it to 30-35 HZ.
