what is intelli Q

i have a orion 2500d and it has an intelli W with HPF on it what is it and is it important

From what I've read, it sounds like a marketing word for their bass boost circuit.

cant be that cause at certain hz on the intelli Q the bass will cut out

Its a variable Q subsonic filter circuit. The idea is that by setting the Q of the SSF high you can get both a boost just above the half power point of the SSF and a SSF all in one circuit with one control. Both the freq and the Q are adjustable.
