motor question

just got a blow sx 12 and the glue on the top plate gave way when i pulled the coil out, so the gap collapsed, is there anyways to realign it, if so how much. thanks

I've had several people say a torn manilla envelope will keep it straight on some of the other lines- you could test that. Scott would know something for sure.

never had a problem like that!

i have no idea how you could fix it....can you move the pole piece around? if you can i would find a way of centering it then gluing it, but that would prove to be difficult....iirc the motors are assembled before the are turned into a permanent magnet, i would just find it hard to get it truly center with it wanting to move around so much

oh no theres no moving it the pole is stuck to the slugs, i probly could re center it , id have to make a gap peice to hold evtherything center, but i dont knwo what kind of glue they use.

i dont think your gonna be able to fix that. And its rather expensive to get it fixed, probably not worth it for a 50 dollar motor
