Recommended Posts

i was wondering what subs would be the best for loudness and i am looking at the these three subs: 2 12" Fi Bl, 2 12"kicker L7, or 2 12" jl audio w3v2 which one would sound the best and i am willing to build my own box and im going to buy a sub that will power whatever sub i buy

those are decent in terms of good sound in my opinion....are you more concerned about it being good quality sound or chest thumping bass

if you want the good sound, i go with Fi, but i'd upgrade/downgrade to the Q, if you want loud i'd go kicker or the Fi BLs

the w3s don't compare in terms of output to either of the mentions above...but w3vs do sound very good

but what brand are they cuz there is no fi's on the online stores
They're only sold at http://www.ficaraudio.com...
which one would sound the best

I don't think you're concerned with that.

Like JimJ said...all depends on the install/application....

i've seen cars with 2 10" Solo Xs hit higher numbers than 4 12" DD 9500s with 2 rockford 4000w titaniums and at least 1500 in batteries...it all depends what you're going for....i'd say either will be loud..hard to tell what would be louder, but i'd say the BLs would sound better

I would say if you get it fully loaded and your not a complete idiot about it it should handle up to 2000 rms. I know a lot of people run them on this.

the Bls are pretty damn loud...and they sound decent...as for power, you can feed them a fair amount of power and not have worries...but i don't think you will need 2000 watts to get full potential out of it...i'd say 1200 to 1500 would be good...my buddy has an 18" BL and that pucker POUNDS with a jbl 1200....but those amps were underrated too
