Nothing SQ about that, I don't know what's in the front.

I love the equipment though :)

he said it was an Sq setup !!! he had some B@d@ss eq under the seat and all kinds of killer door speakers all wicked installed.... i dident get pics of the rest :(

sounded really clean till he did an SPL run for fun and the amps went into protection , over & over, not ment for burping...

Just because you use drivers that are regularly in SQ installs, it is not an SQ setup.

Looks more like "This is money." Don't mean to down it, but I have found IDMAX to be above average but not great, TRU seems to have earned their reputation by charging a lot of money and not making anything stellar, and that much bass output means nothing if the other stuff don't keep up. :)

Having "all kinds of door speakers" doesn't sound like imaging was a concern at all, I'm betting there wasn't much SQ about it...

Definitely more a waste of money than anything. I way prefer the IDQ over the IDaMax.

That is not an SQ setup, it is a stupid waste of money. One of these days you need to take a step out of your world and into ours so you understand.

Okay, I don't see why everyone's getting pissy here. We know nothing about the vehicle other than what's shown. Does anyone remember the Kicker vehicle with a wall full of Solo Xs that was competing in IASCA SQ? The guy ran a simple front stage with a 10" driver up front for SQ and turned the Xs on to wang. Could be a similar situation here.

Ryan, you obviously missed this key phrase:

he had some B@d@ss eq under the seat and all kinds of killer door speakers all wicked installed

the "all kinds" shows its face very clearly.

I noticed that, but we don't know all the facts. this guy may very well compete in an SQ class. Even with his "badass EQ."

Werd , spl readings are used to normalize everyone's system at iasca sq events still . Iasca used to have a spl measurement on the score sheet for a long time . 130 minimum with bonus points over 130 . Wasn't uncommon at all to run up front subs for sq and lots of power on multiple subs in the rear for the spl run. :)

In all due fairness...

The poster started a thread and said "this is SQ" and then posted pictures of several Tru amps and IDMAX subs; no front stage at all. What the owner of the vehicle may or may not have up front is important, but that has nothing to do with my point.

:)

I believe what they are poking at is that SQ is more of an RTA measurement and not spl measurement.

I may be just as lost to.
