power acoustik fubar 12's

are these subs any good, sum of my buddies have these and there sayin they sound loud low and clear. just want sum opinions on these, and wat would compare them 2?

i was also looking at the A2400db amp for them, but idk if that amp puts out rated power.....

any other amp suggestions...
