It is the motor from the first revision X10 re-coned into an 18" woofer by David @ RE. Has a nice flat-wind coil and all that good stuff.

It's not made by SJA so doesn't have any relation to RD or Atomic. It does have gap venting, so I could see why you might say that :)

Dang, did they scratch the back plate?

No its not scratched i think its some ca glue that the flash caught. Going to build a couple boxs next week so i can play with it. Cant wait :)

No idea at all *laughs*

Nice flat-wind coil... probably 20 - 22 mm of linear x-max or so. Stiff suspension so mechanical power handling is good too. Other than that, I got nothing on them!

If I had to guess I'd say moderate to high-ish Qts with low 30s Fs or so...

Building the box monday, got to order some aero ports monday also. Any idea on what kind of power this thing will take jacob?

I would say 1000 - 1500 continuous and quite a bit on burps... stiff spider and a flatwind coil very similar to the MT.

Well sence its going in a reather small ported enclosure ill run it off one of my SAZ-1500D's @ .5. Ill post some picture up of the enclsure and install sometime next week when i get a chance.

Oh corey a 1500D at 1/2 ohm ...

Please do a few runs with music i wanted to know how it takes the 1500D on music :)

Ill be building the box on wensday and finish it up thursday. Should have some vids on friday or saturday. Also music, i wouldnt have it any othere way :) . Ill upload the box design and box build as it progresses.

Let me know how it does, I have no idea how this thing will perform with 18" parts on it *laughs*

It might like large enclosures... so if you decide to get the other one too an Isobaric clamshell might work very well for you!

Im pretty sure i still want the other one :) Once i put some power to it ill know for sure. Just wanted to try it in the car once. Ill probally build another enclosure and try it in the van.
