bass response on 15" BTL

Also curious about this one. I have had some cheap subs in the past with horrible bass response. How do the BTLs stand up for bass response. I have a friend with RF P3's in their "special" enclosure (the plastic ported box) and I have noticed that a lot of the bass notes are jumbled together and don't stand out from one another. Since the BTL's are some big SPL subs, do they do this as well or are they a little better and letting the notes stand out.

I thought you said you were getting into SQ?

I'd go with the Q's or SSD's...with copper coils instead of flatwound. No extra power handling options needed.

I am, but my very soon to be wife is not. She likes loud pounders. Lookin to upgrade her system a little also. She thinks if i get a new system she should also, go figure.
