anyway to tell if a BTL has the dialy option versus the spl option?

question in title. wondering if there is any way to VISUALLY tell if a BTL has the daily versus the spl option.

got a sub im looking to buy...but the dude doesnt know if the sub is daily or spl (he bought it from a guy named "beau" who goes by the name "astrolade" on caraudio.com) and i have no way of getting in contact with him.

Check the spacing between the top plate and former if you can. I don't know the exact spacing difference between the daily and the SPL option; Scott would know that, though.

That's a fully loaded with the dual 2ohm gap, (so yes can fit any coil) if he bought it from Beau Boren...that's actually the motor that we used in the great 12 challenge.
