Just Making Sure

So im brand new to car audio and have been browsing this site as a guess for a while. I have decided on buying a maw-15(one) sub for my setup and am thinking about getting the rf p150, i am just making sure that they would work together nicely. If you have a better suggestion for an amp, i would be glad to hear, however im not looking to spend any more than the 211 dollars the rf amp will cost me.

wait where are you getting the amp? it is listed on ssa for more than 211..

that amp will do more than what you need.. so if you get it put a dmm on it.. if you dont have to have rockford there are other amps out there.. you didnt specify so i stayed with rf

edit: if you are willing to stray away from rf and want to save some money i would buy this amp

i just bought an amp from them and they shipped it fast and im happy with everything so far.. do a search for them and u will only find good things said!

It will work good. You will have to wire the sub coils in series, then bridged on the amp.

From sonicelectronix.com, however i dont have to stay with rf i am also locking at an alpine m650 for 8 dollars more, i am thinking that amp might run cleaner power, and do you guys have a recomendation for a cheap amp kit and wire

look at my edit for amps and as far as wire goes.. i bought from www.knukonceptz.com i thought they were reasonably priced on their amp kits

If you want to go cheaper you can get new Kicker ZX400.1 on ebay for 160 shipped, all day. I picked up a used one off ebay for 92 shipped. They are only rated for 400 but my birthsheet stated 476 which is almost perfectly matched to the MAW-15
