It's still going to be really hard to get a stable image with dual tweeters and midranges... :(

Honestly, I'd probably run horns and combine your upper and lower midrange drivers into one set of drivers that could go from 100Hz to the horn's crossover point. At least that way you could have a chance at getting a stable high frequency stage...and you'll distort those DLS tweeters well before you'll drive a HLCD into distortion.

Jim,

Very true... forgot all about horns!

He could run the SD-1 10s for midbass to 100 Hz and run the PHL 8" up to meet the horns.

I have a pair of ID CD1E Mini Body's, how do you think they would work?

Very well... those things are mean and would be able to keep up with those PHL midranges. That would be an awesome match... talk about a loud front stage

Cool How does a the sd-1 10's wired down to 4 ohms per channel on a 100.2 and the phl mids and id horns running off an 100.4? This should be a fun build.

Yes i got room to mount them under the dash, there is good amount of space there that would be perfect for them.

That setup will be ridiculous sick...I'd suggest an Audiocontrol DQXS with the DDC instead of the Symmetry. Maybe an HPX in the dash if you can swing it.

The DQXS has a discrete equalizer for the front and rear which will give you more processing power.
