Refurbished amplifier

Has anyone ever ordered a refurbished amp? How did it work out for you? And would you buy one again?

my bro bought one once, it was ok i guess it was making a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee noise coming from the inside of the amp, so now i would not buy refurbished amps i would rather buy a used but not refurbished.

I have personally had better luck with refurbs than new.. then again- i only order my refurbs through hda..

i have had NO problems with my RF T1001BD. plus, refurb is like half the retail $.

I sell refurbished amps from time to time. I'm not sure how other companies do it... but I load them down as hard as I can and test them after repairs to make sure they perform up to spec. If they are tested in this manner they should work very well for you

This is the way I feel about refurbs, others may feel differently.

Obviously most amps will get tested before they leave the factory. When they come back to get refurbed they get fixed and then tested again to verify repairs.

I feel anything thats gotten tested twice, is well worth the buy.

My GTO 75.4II refurb just arrived yesterday from SD

Need to hook it up yet though to verify it's properly functioning.
