Your 1.6 comment will really depend on the speakers. If the specs are off a bit I would say no, unless they are off in the other direction. If you actually measured the 1.6 I would say you are okay, but I know you didn't and I am not referring to DCR either.

the speakers are 8 ohm, and im referring to using 5 per channel. 5x 8ohm speakers in parallel = 1.6 right?

if not, ill use 4, and get a 2 ohm load.

I believe the specs on those about as much as I believe you have an SQ install I'd really measure before making any more assumptions.

what load you think they are? higher than 8? its not eminence...im selling the eminence....

how can i test, just put a DMM to the + and - terminals on the mids?

or wire up the speakers in parallel, then check the load of the 5 mids?
