Good Setup?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm new to this forum, and i need some opinion, what you guys think of this setup?

4x RE Audio SE 15's in 6.7~7.0cuft Sealed Enclosure power by 2x Sundown SAZ-1500D giving them like 750wrms each.

8x RE Audio RE 6.5 Components power by 2x Sundown SAX100.2 giving them like 75-100 wrms or 1x Sundown SAX100.4 giving them like 80 wrms, I read that the RE 6.5 are rated 50wrms can they take more than that?

will the 8x RE Audio RE 6.5 be enough for the 4x SE 15's?

What Alternator size will be good for this setup?

The ones that have experience with both MTX and RE Audio, will the 4x RE SE15's Sealed be louder than 4x MTX 7500 15's also sealed? sorry for so many questions but it's important, anyways thanks, Aruman.

I'll be the first one to tell you as I'm one of the nicer ones here ( at least I think so :D ) there are too many variables involved for anyone to be able to accurately tell you which setup would be louder. But with the amount of power you will want the biggest alt you can afford , and fit in your vehicle . Gonna probably have to look into more batteries as well . Why so many set's of components ? :)

thanks for the response, no not 8x pairs, it's 8x speakers thus 4x pairs.

Still way too many for it to have a chance at having any coherent image.

If that's not important, go for it.

No, I'm not from Florida,

The car is an Toyota Corolla

The reasons why sealed, is that i can't go with the 4x SE 15" ported(small car), and i like 4x subs installs and also i like the sound of sealed more, the reason why SE 15" is I've read that they can get very loud sealed in small enclosure and sound very good doing it.

I know my Corolla is a small car it will be difficult to fit 4x 15's but as my calculation it seems possible. Currently i have 4x 12" sealed 4.3cuft total and I'm not using the spare tire compartment as the box, but if i go with the 4x 15's I'll have to use it so i can get like the 6.7- 7cuft i want for the 4x SE 15's, I'll see what i can do, anyways thanks for the inputs. Aruman.
