140.9db with 1 15"BL is that pretty good??

Recommended Posts

140.9 is respectable with that setup, especially with a honda, the alt is tiny in that thing.....upgrade your alt to battery wiring and such, maybe a bigger alt if you ever afford it.....but putting the seats down will make a big difference....i woulnd't be disappointed with that score though.....a 30hz tune isn't made for spl, just insane lows that people will shutter when they feel.....good job man and post up the next score you get and the changes you make.

Well I have another question that has come about..IF I did damage the speaker, I have the universal motor option On my BL, If I were to recone it to a dual 1 setup instead of the current dual 2 How much does that generally Cost..Like I said I bought the Universal motor option..

if your using the Usaci cd go to track 19 do the Sweep wile the mic is in your car, it will give you a pretty good idea where your Freq is... it will show on the screen what note you peeked loudist @... start there burp for 4 sec and move up...

also start @ a moderate volume and roll up the volume wile burping, giving the mic a chance to get a good read on the presure...

helps with impedance rise & amps going into protect mode wile burppppppppppppppping

Well the enclosure is 4.0Cuft @30hz..I have the American Bass VfL 150.1 on it The gold Chasis amp..Car is a Honda Civic 96 model. Seats were up. I played Track 20 on that cd..The thing is my box dosen't do higher bass at all..That chopped and screwed version of In the air tonight by Phil Collins literally makes my whole Dashboard move up and down an inch in either direction. I think track 20 wasn't the right song for my setup..It didn't even do anything until the last few seconds of my run..I know I can get more out of it..I just think I need to get more time on this Term Lab meter..My setup isn't set up for SPL anyway..I like listening to low bass hitting rap, stuff that makes my whole car flex and shake..I think it can do better...I just need a copy of that Usaci cd that they use..Then I could figure out which track to play..I know nothing about that cd or where to get it??

i got 137.1, my box is 1.2cubes and tuned to 32, a 10" fully loaded BL that is :horse:

the opti line of lanzar is the only line worth getting. i am running my amp at .5 ohm and i have not felt it even get hot. i love the amp it has all the bells and whistles you could ever need and is very solid.

im sure i missed it but which way is the port fireing ? ^>< up left or right ?

sub direction?

mic position ?

im shure theres more than a few more 10ths of a db in there somewhere ! :)

all of the big trunk hitters have the subs fireing into the car w/back seat down,

and boxx pushed into the oppenning, w/ 2 12" or 2 15" ported forward...and an amp on ea sub

I have the sub firing up through the Rear Deck, the Port is pointed toward the back of the car, the Seat was in the Up position, wasn't down..I think I can gain some more by simply putting my seat down..Also this was with there music on the USACI cd...My music is louder. I left the seats up because I wanted to see what it will do everyday with the seat up like I ride around with it...
