Wifes first comp today

Well I talked her into going with me, and entering her first comp today. Her setup is 2 RL-i 8" sealed (1.3cubes) with a Directed 1500D. A TL mic was used, sealed at the dash she put up a 135.8. She's now decided that she wants a ported box, lol.

I think she may be. She started asking for ways to get "a little" louder, lol. She's running a factory deck, electrical, etc. It's her daily, and she wanted something simple. Now she's asking for more, lol.

New numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went ahead and ported the box for her (I'll build another more proper ported box later). We went to a local show today and got metered. Her first run was a 137.2. I tweaked a few things, moved the box around, and we hit a 139.6 with the 2nd run.

x2 my gf says she wants me to do a setup in her car.....but is has to be louder than mine. 15" ava. 4 cuft @30hz and 1000 watts....

She drives a VW R32. Currentlly the box is 1.2 cubes ported to 34hz. I'm in the process of redoing the box using 2 3" aero ports, and taking the box to 1.5 cubes.

thats cool nice setup. looking to add another 8' and hopefully I will/can get a better score, also looking to up the power also. very interested to hear/see numbers how the 1.5cube with aeros does. gl

Well I talked her into letting me put a pioneer in it. After a little tuning, we got a new score

We're in the 40's. Now I have to build the newbox, and I have a pair of 4" aero ports just for it.
