Sundown X v.2 12's built by Dave Leib

Hello everyone, long time no see. I am selling a pair of Dual 2-ohm (technically D1.7) 12" Sundown X v.2's built by Dave Leib a.k.a "Strongman Designs." Reason I am selling them is because I realized upon testing to see if my digital multi-meter was working correctly that one of the coils is reading higher on the one sub indicating that too much heat had been applied to it recently so rather than risking any further damage to it I am going to assume that I have too much power for these. Having said this in all honesty, let me make it perfectly clear here that both subs are still in perfect working order as we speak, even the one that is reading differently. Had I not thrown my multi-meter on it to test it in order to see if it was working properly (the multi-meter itself) I would have never known there was any difference or discrepancy between the two. However, because one of them is reading off now and I do not know what is to be expected out of it's performance long-term I will be letting these go for $500+ shipping (that includes both). Any further questions or concerns please feel free to text me at 440-915-2309 Phil

    Someone Please Help Me

Good evening everybody. I have a few items to install for an Audio System upgrade; but don't know how to go about it. The Items that will be involved are -1 Distribution Block -2 Amps. -1 Capacitor. -1 Equalizer/Crossover -6 Speakers in Total (2 tweeters, 2 Front Door 6.5's, and 2 6x9's) -1 Subwoofer I'm trying to connect 2 amps; 1 for the Subwoofer and the Second for Speakers. My Aftermarket Head Unit has 3 pairs of RCA plug-ins. 1) Subwoofer 2) Front 3) Rear. How Would I connect the 6 speakers (which I'm going to rewire) to the 1st amp? Do I wire the Speakers to the Amp or Straight to the Head unit itself? Also, how would I connect the amp to the Head unit if it only has the 3 RCA plug-ins as stated above? Any advice or suggestions are Welcomed. Thanks in advance. URL: https://able2know.org/topic/434961-1

    FS - 2 amps - 2 subs

I have just sold my car and I had to remove my subs and amps. not planning to install them again in my new truck. I have a sundown audio SAZ1500D & SAX100.4D. I also have two 12" SSD's with the upgraded coils. These are from an older install, but have not been beaten to death and are in great shape. i have no idea what these are worth figured it's a great first time setup for someone. I'm assuming around $500ish for all of it. Local pickup will be the easiest obviously Sarasota/Tampa/St. Pete/Bradenton/Venice. But Willing to ship if the price is right (I can get a quote). Willing to sell individually if you want. email me: [email protected]

    Zcon or Evil?

Never had SSA and just ordered 2 ZCON 18s. I have friends with evils and was wanting to know the difference. I know they are both monsters. Thanks.

    Xcon Prospective Project

Hey guys, Hopefully ya'll can give me some help here. I have two 12" JL Audio W6v2 in a sealed box powered by a Big Bang Planet Audio D-CLass 1250.1 x 1 amp. Subs sound good but been having them since 2005 and want to upgrade to something bigger and with more output. I have not heard the Xcons and those are the subs I intend to get. I am looking into one 18" or two 15's. They will be powered by the same amp named above, and I will be looking into getting either sub(s) into a Khaotik Ported enclosure. I would have this setup in a 2007 Yukon. Question: Will I be better, in terms of output, getting just ONE 18, or TWO 15's? 2nd Question: Do I go with dual 1ohm or Dual 2 ohm? I would appreciate any help!

    buying new subs

Hi i have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe and im buying 2 new subs soon. im thinking of going with the saa xcons 15"s or the ssa zcon 12"s which would be better for the lows (40 and lower) the zcons or xcons. also thinking about getting a crescendo BC3500D to power them is that a good amp. thanks
  10. hey i wassup i have a 2000 yukon SLT "profile pic is the truck" on 26's i wanted to do 6 SMD 15'' subs in a clamshell box tuned @ 30hz with 2-3 400a alts and 3 runs of 0 gauge wire with at least 8-12 D3100's from Xs Power batts and a ABVM from Mechman any idea's of what i should do in this bad boy i also though about doing 8-12 SA12s from Sundown audio i want to run at least 18-25krms clean power in this truck so any ideas for subs and amps that will help me achieve this goal?
  11. i have two 10" pioneer TS-W251R subwoofers in a vented box in my car and right now this kid i know gave me a prehistoric amp for me to use while i look for a new one. (im not even going to say what the old one is... its a joke and doesnt nearly cut it, ill leave it at that) so right now im in the market for a good durable amp that is not going to cost me an arm and a leg cause lets face it, im on a tight budget. so what i do know is the standard stats for my subs they have a norm of 120w and a 600w peak output and they are 4 ohms. what should i be looking at? would something like the Kicker 11DX250.1 be an appropriate option? or should i be looking at a two channel amp instead of that one which is a mono. im not set on any particular brand... just not something thats going to burn a hole in my wallet. thanks for the help! -atokad33
