Kyles going to have 15k+, trust me, he'll beat the shit out of it.. You just need to hurry up and get your 390!! what year is his Camry? I've got an 05 and am thinking about a new alt eventually His is an '02, but it's exactly the same setup from I think '99-'09.. They didn't change mounting for 10 years... On most ~2500w systems, our 180 does a very good job... XPs are a bit much for the motor, but they run awesome... Either way you go, we have you covered on that... Rob I've got about 1500 watts going to my sub and 200 going to the front(probably moving up to 400 or so eventually)

i love my BL 12. its pretty loud

I have my BL 12 on a Sundown SAZ-1500D. I like it a lot. You could sell the two sony amps and look for a deal on something big, bad and 1 ohm stable. I got mine for $275 with a 1 year warranty.

what wire should i look into! please help!

welding cable definitely. before you order online, check and see if there is a local welding supply store near you. I got 25 ft of 1/0 for $2.28/ft from National Welding Supply. If you buy local, you don't have to wait on shipping and its close by if you suddenly need a little more. Just my $0.02 edit: I like my KnuKoncepts speaker wire and RCA's. They are pretty good quality and look nice. -
there were a few small holes in my surround because my old roommate wanted to install stuff while I was at work. Fi told me to use silicone sealent and it fixed the holes. it does look a tittle ghetto but is purely cosmetic

got my sundown knob in the other day. I put it in the ashtray for a stealth look. I sealed the box to the cabin with gorilla tape and expanding foam. Pics in a bit

I currently have a set of phoenix gold passive components being powered by a teac 100 x 2 amp. The head unit is a JVC KW-nx 7000. A Fi BL 12 in a 2.5 ft^3 box tuned somewhere in the low 30 powered by a Sundown SAZ-1500D make up my low end. I'm interested in going active with my front stage and getting a better amp and components. I want a little improvement in sound, not really trying to win any SQ competitions. the budget is about $200 which I know is low, but I"m trying to plan a wedding and honeymoon and I think the fiancée is probably gonna kill me for even thinking about spending that much . Suggestions?

appreciate the advice. Definitely gonna deaden the doors first. I was having trouble wiring the components when I first put them in, so I had to have my local shop do it. Thanks for the congrats, I love that woman. Btw, I went though your build log on the accord; amazing fab work. Especially the battery spot under the spare tire

nice equipment. I have a Fi BL 12" and a Sundown SAZ-1500D and I love em. Sundown and Fi make great stuff and go the extra mile with customer service. Enjoy

i like the amp. i guess i could get another 2 channel and do that, but I would really like to get 1 amp that could power everything and do the processing.

The post above yours, he states how he works part time Hard to believe. PT's don't pay chit. Doesn't matter to me, nice equipment. it really doesn't, just curious. and X2 on his equipment.

I work full time for 11.25 and could not begin to do a build that big.
-
This is awesome. How do you afford all this??!
-
thanks dude. I guess I am gonna track down a used Sundown 100.4 . and yeah deadening. Its gonna be a while, but I wanna do it eventually
-
I wanna keep my head unit. The current set up is in the stock location in the doors behind the factory grill; no deadening. I got my amp for $15, probably won't find a 4 channel that cheap anytime soon

congrats, dude

no tricks, but my 12 BL beating up.

I just wanted to give you guys a big for how killer my new BL 12 sounds. This is the first sub of this caliber I have ever purchased. It meets and then exceeds my expectations. Paired with my Sundown SAZ-1500D, it just blows me away

Finally got my BL playing. best sub I've ever owned
chainsaw replied to chainsaw's topic in General Fi
like the last enclosure, I got it hand me down from Dvalue. It is definitley bigger than the old one. My last sub was a DD2510 on 700 watts. This is louder but the DD was nothing to sneeze at. They are both quality subs, but I'm pretty stoked about the fact that I own a woofer that wasn't built until after I ordered it. -
