We need to know the voice coil configuration(s), and your brother will need to do some electrical upgrades to support 2kw rms, or run the drivers on a smaller amp thats more suitable for the vehicles current electrical.

Nice work so far man, looking forward to seeing you build the box. Im afraid if you use the area above the gas tank for the enclosure, then It will block a lot of bass from being able to come back into the cabin since it'd have to go thru the box or over the top to enter the cabin. Just a theory so take for what its worth.

Ive always heard to tune like 3-5hz from your resonant freq, and go from there. Whats your current tune?

Double baffle is strongly recommended. And if your worried about weight, you can use birch plywood, its stronger and lighter
