yea, i didn't have time to sand so its a very uneven finish. But oh well. lessons were definately learned. Now i just need a new box and a nice clean install since mags aren't as in my future as i had hoped

Ok so its too small(2 cubes net ), i won't even be using it, but i figure its a good opportunity to try staining. I'm going to be sanding it tomorrow and throwing a coat of stain on, i will update tomorrow with pics most likely. well given the bills i just got, i can't afford mags. Totally friggin sucks, but i guess thats life. So now i'm entertaining the idea of an IB setup. No idea how i'd actually seal it off from the trunk though

aunt and uncle just bought a 34' fleetwood RV, wondering if they want an audio setup :-P Would that be a HT or car audio? Guess it depends on whether it runs off 12v or not On another note, the guy wanting me to give his silverado DVD life apparently wants to spend a LOT of money :-D What is the top of the line in-dash you would all buy if you had the money? nothing insane like 10k but this man is a doctor and wants to show off. I personally have a pioneer boner, but i'm relatively certain any of the good brands will be more than awesome for him (since he knows almost nothing of car audio) I think i have him talked into an indash and headrest LCD's and his only concern so far has been me cutting his stock wiring harness.

the booze place i always buy my goose and beery from sells moonshine. Always been curious as to the quality of it, probalby should buy some sometime. Its down 460 in WV, might be able to make a run there some day.

hopefully in a couple weeks my 15" ava will be replaced by two 12" mags, i'll let ya know how it goes. Not exactly a fair comparison, but close enough. btw from what i've heard the mag is a clear winner in the power department. My ava doesn't like the 1200W i'm sending it, even with impedance rise she still gives me a coil stink from time to time. Hoping i can run the two mags at 1/2 ohm on the orion with good results.

no shine, we couldn't get ahold of the guy that has it, actually nobody has talked to him in a few days. Couldn't find Voxx either, got some weird vodka i'd never heard of, cheap and turned out to be very good. Svedka or something like that. i think it helps it a lot, it stands out too much right now, after hitting it with some fine sandpaper it should blend much much better. It's raining here now so i don't know if i'll be clearing it tomorrow or not.

what kind of tuning are you shooting for?

i know you can strap orion 1200's thats one of the reasons i chose mine, good upgrade potential
