I WOULD ditch the labrynth, i do hate them, but i have a lot of width to work with and would rather it be wide than deep <{POST_SNAPBACK}> According to the pic you posted, you have plenty of room for the L without sacrificing depth, assuming the driver will have clearance on the rear. Keep in mind, your vent is going to displace some as well, not just the driver. You will end up with quite a bit less than 2.29 cubes. Making the vent longer will only compound this problem by taking up more space. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sorry the 2.29 is after port dispacement, but not woofer. maybe i'll throw together an L-shape and see what it turns out like

If i had to guess i'd say that you are essentially running it inverted and the area in front of the sub is working as the box. The holes in the deck allow the sound to travel up that is unless i'm not understanding any of this
