if that's the case i'd go with a large format tweet and an 8 if you can find one that goes high enough to mate properly

Your 5" coax's can be brought down to 2ohm for two channels. (thats 8 speakers, first paired off and paralleled for 4 sets of 2ohm, pair these off and it makes two sets at 1ohm, series these and you've got 2ohm going to each of two channels). 6" can be simply paralleled and they will be 2ohm for each channel now you're out of channels on your amp, you need another 2ch , run it just like the 6"s for the tweets. You'll need crossovers for nearly all of it, it'll almost definitely have to be active unless you have the passives already. btw, this won't sound good, it'll just have....sound

Took the stock infinity amp out of the xfire too, hoping that will force me to finish the install.

no clue, never seen anyone. i frequently park in front of his house (on street parking) and have only seen a vehicle at his place a handful of times.
-
never even seen him home
-
what impedance on the speakers?
-
you are correct. And maybe he does...but its very odd since that's the only window and it never sees direct sunlight....at best it would be for about 2hrs a day

and yea that's the only room that is like that, and the only room that doesn't face a road, even the back of the house has a road after the yard.

Here's a cropped pic

ok, so not sure if i've ever mentioned this, but my neighbor's room that i can see straight out of my window is creepy as hell. I swear this guy is either a murderer or does porno in his room, I will let the picture speak for itself. It's been like this since i moved in

damn, first thing thats been easy in the crossfire. Grommet just under the battery with about a dozen extra slots for wire, cut a hole and fed it right through. Took all of 20min total and that's because i was cautious enough to completely remove the battery.

go buy some satan's blood, relatively cheap and hot as fuck, add a few drops to a cup or so of your favorite alcohol, and use that to spray the hot sauce. this is assuming you're doing a dish where you can add something like rum(or beer) without killing the flavor.
-
i really need to run the power wire in the crossfire, but i'm way too lazy to pull the battery

i asked the gf, she knows nothing about teak

take out all the seats and the carpet, along with any interior pieces that you'll deaden. Put the driver's seat back in with the carpet out and then deaden everything. You can keep the interior parts in your house until you finish. Almost anyone here has driven around like this while deadening their car. It'll save time in the long run as you can properly route all your wiring while it's like this.
-
nice photography too, though i think the car is a tad too blue :-D

That's fine until someone else reads his thread and thinks, hmm i wonder what else they didn't line up then buys anther sub because of it. Then it's a legal issue where fi could sue him or the board for allowing the misinformation to stand. Yes it's libel with a good enough lawyer. Him stating that the surround is off is fine, but suggesting that someone else may be torn up isn't. If he was asking if everything was ok that'd be fine, but FYI'ing the board members isn't necessary if he wanted to FYI scott he could have e-mailed fi.

Don't be a douchebag, in your post right above mine you insinuate that because the screw holes aren't lined up that there may be other serious issues with the driver. Perhaps you missed your own post?

I just bought more amps..... I really gotta get rid of all my spare amplifiers now, i have no need for them but buy them because of the deals.

Got a HO alt, 1 extra battery, still dimming

also check and clean all your connections. If it's an older vehicle then the corrosion on the terminals could be playing a big part. -
There is no reason to even care if the holes line up. The only thing that matters is that it's properly centered and symmetrical. Let me say this again, it's not that it will make a little difference, it WILL NOT make a difference, period. If you want them to spend the extra time to line up holes when gluing surrounds pay the extra $$, hell for enough money they'll custom drill mounting holes however you want.
