very nice, but what is that last picture?

How were said tweeters mounted and aimed? in stock locations on the dash,
-
i'm outta here, have a good night jim, tom, and...devildriver (dunno your name) gotta finish studying anat and phys
-
i wouldn't wanna see you trying to see out the van with large format tweets up there, if you angled them at all i bet it'd be in the way, thats why acres of dash > acres of windshield. i was actually looking through my manual today and i swear i think i can fit an 8" sub behind the radio if i take the dash out and take the time to install it. will never happen, but would be cool
-
eh i'll probably keep the mids forever anyway, for $25 each new i can't really justify selling them since the replacements would cost at least $70each
-
know what the weather's going to be like, i hate seeing you and jim blister i thought last year's went extremely well. I'd like to see you and webster judge again too.
-
are you interested in the tweets? no way in hell they'll fit in the van unless you have big plans for the dash
-
maybe exclusives and the morel tweets, but that'd be $300 on mids and the stratus needs kickpods and new mids before that happens...so maybe just stick with the daytons for now and save up for the morel tweets...yes
-
I dunno about everyone else, but if you want me to look at the pics you'll have to post them here. equipment looks good though.
-
damn stratus doors, i suggest not working on them too much, you'll get disgusted quickly. I also saw that you had the RL-Ps in the stratus trunk, i made some very large boxes fit in mine, (3cubes each) but it took some work, i probably still have the plans around here somewhere

Proto SPL sub fun... need your suggestions!

i think i'm going to put the seas tweets and maybe even the dayton rs 180s up for sale.... i'm just not going to be happy with the tweets, i want these... http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi...952&pid=666 and for moofers i'll find something else that'll suffice
-
extremely lame, and i had to know pretty much every step and the mechanisms, thats the main part that pwn'd me
-
btw ryan if you still wanna play with the planars you're more than welcome to, hell you can have them, they might make good coasters

just got through messing with the tweets in the stratus, the old ribbons that i had = teh suckage, i think they're trashed seas 27TDFC vs Morel MDT29 morel hands down everyone on htguide raved about the 27tdfc but i just don't like the sound, the morel is much gentler and in car only had a hump around 3khz and the seas were beyond my EQ'ing capabilities. May be personal preference as i'm just about content running the poly mids full range not really a review, just a drop in A vs B comparison, i tried running them both down to about 2khz, the morels were fine with it but the seas didn't sound very good at all. the only other thing i noticed is that the seas are more sensitive by a noticeable amount, i don't recall which was supposed to be more sensitive though. Not a concern though since i've ran the morels off 35W and even that was too much at full tilt.

I got pwn'd mostly my fault, chose the wrong parts to focus on.

damn it, two different notes....in step 6 of glycolysis is NAD+ reduced or is NADH oxidized? he has it written both ways... i'm thinking reduced, that makes way more sense
