yeah, his 225 is spread out over a very tall frame. my 235 is on a slightly more compact version, even at 6'2". lol, cheater. thanks aaron. i'm sure some will find fault with it, but that's ok. numbers don't lie and my opinion is just that, my opinion. it was fun to do, both are good subs and i really enjoyed it. i wish that was my job, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I have an average height frame. I haven't quite figured out why there are so many short people in the world yet though. if you're average, i'm a midget

excellent review just wish there was some smaller than recommended small box testing.

what you think of my new rims for the MINI?

I couldn't move for the other deer(s?). They were all on an embankment to the left of the road, i saw them heading down so completely stopped to let them cross. They go by in front of the car and all of the sudden mr retard deer comes down at full sprint right into the car. -
if you are wanting sound quality i think you could have made better choices
-
you can trim it, no worries

kent if that was sarcasm, i just want you to know i did have a deer hit me while i was fully stopped. Hit the driver's door, i had my window down and the bastard's head actually came part of the way in the window. -
i'm pretty cocky in general, but no doubt this girl would beat my ass. Solid obviously doesn't even begin to describe her. I'll see if i can dig up a decent pic. She's quite cute when she tries to be

sundown sae 1000d power wire question? 0 gauge doesnt fit like it shou
vladd replied to gayjoo's topic in Sundown Audio
this is the funniest debate ever. personally i'd only trim 1/4 of the outside and 1/4 of the inside, and another 1/8 of every other inner piece (inner being defind as anything more than 1/4 of the radius in from the insulation and 1/4 of the radius out from the center this allows only a small amount of stubble which can irritate some faces but other faces may find it stimulating -
Wouldn't they be the same if the motor and coil is the same?
-
and no, i can't hit it, i would have already.

So you know of someone that has benched it? Also do you understand the difference between RMS and max specs? I don't know much about american bass amps but i doubt they're going the old skool way of cheater amps.
-
i drilled a few extra holes along the tunnel that i was filling and just filled the hollow part up about 3/4, i didn't get any kind of bulging
-
i probably wouldn't either unless you know you're going to be upgrading amps. My Q is sealed and getting somewhere in the 1200-1400 range and it is fine.

http://www.americanbassusa.com/sq880.html sorry man but unless they're hella underrated you're only looking at about half that at 4ohm

my knowlege only goes so far but you were probably clipping the hell out of it and not getting real "power".
