speaking of dry ice, with the right setup you could just put the dry ice in the box, it'd decrease the box volume but would enable you to keep cold air around the subs. Someone need to machine some 1" holes all the way through the motor (vertically from top to bottom plate) so it looks like the cylinder from a revolver and then make a freeze pack that fits right in it. bl would probably go all to hell though. is it the memphis subs where you can unscrew the motors? would be cool to have a cooler full of spare frozen motors and switch them between burps, especially easy if your subs were inverted. here's to 3am nonsense

i didn't actually mean that towards women this time though. Just there's one that every time i talk to her i remember how much i like her, but no matter how hard i try i just can't get close to her.

having used the 8053 and the 880 i definitely prefer the 880 if it had no noise issues. Keep in mind i'm a pioneer fan so the menu's were easy as pie for me (basically the same as any other pioneer with more adjustments). The sound of the two was so close it isn't worth mentioning, but the 880 is way more flexible with the exception of the mentioned peq. And of course the 8053 has a stronger preout voltage, but if you jump the 880 up a notch or two (in the menu) it's more than strong enough. Hell it's strong enough without adjusting i just prefer to keep my gains as low as possible. i say spend the $$ on the 880, if you have no noise issues, keep it. if you get noise, sell it

apparently the 7996 will switch the presets, but nobody seems 100% on any of it.

I hate toshiba for making a laptop with a gforce video card but 1.1 usb slots. Who the hell does that? Granted this laptop is so old it only came out right about the time of 2.0, but everything else on it was top of the line

Come to the dark side my child definitely looks like i will be, i'll probably just make a rig so i can plug in the controller to setup the h701 and then just unplug it and use the 7996 to change presets. that way i don't have to worry about the other din slot. Even though i have tons of room in the dash to open it up to 2din
