i don't understand the rationale behind suicide equaling cowardice. He didn't do it because he was afraid to face the rest of his life, he did it to prove a point to the members of the board. Not to mention pulling the trigger on that gun takes action, living your life takes almost none. Using that kind of logic we're saying that skydivers are cowards until they pull the cord? I'm pretty sure it's much harder to not pull the cord than it is to pull it. you can't two dimensionalize suicide as something for cowards. Death can bring about change faster than just about anything, this guy may have been smart enough to realize that. Sure he shouldn't have started a business that he couldn't afford. He should leave it to Wal-Mart to come in and supply everyone with the products they need. Small buisness owners like him should be forced to close down and lose what they've worked on for a lifetime.

i disagree. he wanted to show the people what they were doing to him, i guarantee that image won't leave them for quite some time. Definitely wouldn't label him a coward....maybe suicidal. on a barely related note...i really feel that we're not watching the great hand of the totaltarian govt. slip around our necks. It may take a while but i guarantee within a century there is going to be a very large revolt in this country.

probably not noticeable...if he's not going to compete i definitely wouldn't worry about it edit: just looked at the rf website, if you can pick up a 4000 for the same price as the 3000 sundown, i'd probably go for that, seems like a steal of a deal.

three 10" BL's will be just fine for him, definitely louder than you'd want with a baby in the car :-D

I haven't heard the BLs, but even 3 10" Q's off a 3000d should be louder than you'll ever need(so BLs should be even louder). Is the trunk that small in the charger or does he just not want to use much of it?

that should be a healthy charging system. But i can tell you the strapped 1500s drew a crapton of power too, so i'm sure the 3000 will too. btw i may have missed it but what vehicle is this going in?

well you have to decide whether you'd want to run them at 1 and 1/3 ohm or 2/3 ohm. if you got the saz3000 you'd be giving each BL a little more than 1kw at 2/3 ohm and a little less than 1kw at 1 1/3 ohm. Of course 1 1/3 ohm is a much safer load. i'd go with the 1 1/3, should be more than loud enough for you. just e-mail one of the fi people when you order the sub and they may be able to change a few things to make it better suit your application. they may even be able to make the Qs better suited to small enclosures (won't be any huge changes though).

you need more port area, i had a port about that size with my 12" Q and it could have used a little more area for my taste. With a BTL you'll definitely want more

awful gym day for me. i have no energy today. Of course i had a bad stomach bug yesterday, i guess it affected me more than i realized.

well here's what i used to have, tuned to 35hz 3 cubes each sub. In the trunk of my stratus ran at 1.333 ohms on an orion 1200d hit 143db on the TL i then moved on to one 15" ava..don't remember the specs on the box and never had it metered, was tuned low as hell though, i was stoned on flu meds when i designed the box, thats why the internal volume was only about 2.5 cubes My last sub setup was two 12" avas in .7 cubes each sealed, forget what i metered with the box facing the trunk, i think it was 139 but i don't remember as it was my progression towards SQ. Even in the small(tiny?) sealed boxes these things had absolutely no trouble with 20hz so there's my progression through the AA world

share some plans, i think those are the very speakers i have in dad's dash that were being beaten by HU power.
