on my search for silicone hoses i found this on a website right below the pics of hoses. "Tuning Tip: Red is a good color for all around performance, however with a big turbo blue gets upwards of 10 hp, unless you have stock cams, then only 5 hp. Purple is best for bottom end power, mix with red for excellent mid-range. For NT cars, shift all recommendations one hue towards a warmer color. Yellow hose should only be used on high compression NTs or turbo cars with welded differentials. Proper Sticker Tuning can be a successful work around for any of these concerns. ;-P"

if anyone here knows of a CHEAP source for silicone hoses please let me know. i could really use a 45degree reducer (4" 3") but i refuse to pay $80 for it. i could just run 4" pipe easier.

No, but that is cheap and you will hate yourself later if you don't agreed, i think i'll make it wait until i get the car running, then do suspension

$645 for shocks/struts all the way around for the fiero. do i really want to spend that much right now?

i wouldn't do it, almost any shade of blue is gonna be very rough on the eyes. on another note the pucker that i bought the cheap mufflers and cat off of has yet to send me the egay total but last night filed a non-paying dispute with ebay. and with how great ebay is i'm sure it's going to be my ass that gets the negative mark and not his.

i'm betting the fiero will be heavier than 3220 with me in it :-(

ryan2, you can get the hot sauces at random places. but online this place seems to have good prices. http://www.ashleyfood.com/acatalog/maddogextractarsenal.html be warned if he's not into chit that's incredibly hot (much hotter than habaneros) stay with something well below 1million. the satan's blood i mentioned earlier at 800,000 is still so hot a full drop on your tongue is too much.
-
satan's blood = 800,000 scovall(sp?) this chit = 5million
-
ramos...i have a couple of hot sauces for sunday, one is hotter than anything dave has, and puts satan's blood to shame. i haven't even opened it
-
IIRC dave's magnum had plenty of room for 8s in the doors.

i can't think of another movie that i've watched where i really felt cheated...i could have spent the time with my hands down my pants and accomplished so much more.

just got through watching "shoot em up" and it was quite possibly the worst movie i've ever seen in my life

damn tom you're making me green

What happened? just a bunch of stupid chit where he needs someone to kick the chit out of him for a while so he'd come to his senses

if my brother wasn't my brother, i'd kick his ass

time alignment is not that difficult at all and can make HUGE differences in your system. The only substitute for t/a IMO is having every speaker on axis and the exact same distant from the listener.

if it's silk screened i think someone said alcohol takes it off

god i hope you didn't connect a + and - on the amp. you cannot bridge a 20.1 monoblocks are not bridgeable because they are only one channel. There's two sets of outputs so you can hook up multiple subs easily. just run the coils on the sub in parallel (like you have them, + to + and - to -) and then the - to the - on the amp, and the + to the + on the amp. that's it.

my only two concerns with that setup would be your crossover and the MLI's. I've never used either so i'm not sure if the AC will be sufficient or easy to change, if it's the style where you have the interchangeable modules i suppose it would work but being able to change the crossover point from your listening position is invaluable. the MLI's i'm sure someone else can chime in on. I'm not sure if they're going to be beefy enough on the bottom end to be a dedicated midbass. But i have zero experience with them, i'm just saying do more research before purchasing.

$55 may be a lot but if i take it anywhere to have it worked on i'm sure i'll pay twice that at the least.

sounds like a plan

just one stick...tried switching slots made no difference. Just found a psu and stick of ram local, 500W PSU for $40 and 1gig of ram for $15 so i'll pick those up, worst case scenario i'm out $55
