You want audio? This is pretty flippin' crazy!
vladd replied to Beat_Dominator's topic in Home Audio
you know how you can hear rain hitting your roof? think of that but on the horns. i mean you spend all that money for some super efficiency where you are eliminating all sound, i'm sure even with insulation you could still hear the rain through it. -

ryan, no idea on price. From the way the person talked they don't really care about the gear, it's at tech so it could be stuff that's sat there since it was new
-
just found out about some "Old tube mcintosh amps, sitting on the shelf with other old stuff like a 15+ year old B&K analyzer" might be able to pick up some very nice gear, gotta talk to the guy directly though

and i discovered that heather (dave's wife for those that don't know) is VERY mean when she's drunk.
-
i'm awake... last night was a blast, me, dave, heather, ramos, julie, ale (the italian ex-roomie), and thomas (german) all went out drinking. I ended up staying mostly sober but that made waking up today much easier.

it's all about where the drivers will be and what you can fit.
-
here's a teaser, ignore the red vacuum line, we were just using whatever we had to get them right, they will be redone later with all black

I'm too audio retarded to post anything worth reading. If it weren't for Sean, I would be running two DIYMA 12's for a high output setup. I can't imagine what my box would look like if it weren't for Sean and Kent. I have a lot to learn much better than knowing it all
-
i wish all profs would be so nice.

probably doesn't want to say anything because nothing is certain yet. He certainly wouldn't want to have a bunch of hype and then the actual driver turn out to be something completely different. Not to mention if he leaks a little info he'll probably be bombarded with e-mails and pm's asking about them when he needs to be spending his time working on other things. just my opinion though

just got back from the range, i love the smell of gunpowder

tom, i have some pics of the 3800 in the fiero but none of the homebrew exhaust piece. gotta wait till tomorrow when i can upload them though.
-
i need the hookup on 1/0 wire, black and red. if anyone can help me out, let me know. time to run power/ground for the fiero's 2nd battery and gonna make a killer set of jumper cables too.
-
i'm going to have to do some serious whoring, you all are getting too close
-
got the pipes cut to make the y-pipe for the fiero exhaust. Hopefully get them welded up and stretched tomorrow or early next week.
