    Easy Question!!!! (I Hope!!)

the BLs should handle quite a bit more power than the SSDs. how much power over advertised will depend on your install.

    MDF or birch

why would you want something more flexible? by that reasoning wouldn't it be better to use veneer?
  4. i want to give you a little help here more subs does not mean more loud. bigger subs does not mean bigger sound. subs in their PROPER enclosure = best. if you put a bunch of subs in a box and starve them for air you'll be right back on here complaining about how brand XXXX sub sucks because it's not loud even though you have 203978542 of them in 6ft^3 of space.

lol i do half agree with them,
  6. i personally think yes, it's a total waste of money and last time i checked 4 mj18s are going to be nearly impossible to fit in a beetle without some serious cutting, why bother on your first car? try this....get a 12" sub, go with the us amps 2000d, get 1 component set and you'll be much happier. with 2 sets of legacy "mids and highs" and 6 tweeters your setup is going to sound like shit. with 4 mj18s you'll never get enough airspace to use them to their fullest and you won't be as happy as you could be.

if you want to save weight go fiberglass and choose your sub wisely.

and in most cases the weight difference is not enough for you to ever really notice in vehicle. It won't make your car faster, more gas efficient, etc. Of course lifting the box will be much easier.

I'd probably not use the Seas for just a mb, but I wouldn't use the L8 then either. Something about playing an octave and a half doesn't make me want to splurge that far. what would you start to look at then? 8" is definitely the largest i can fit and even that will take some work. i'm sure i can get the L8s to dip down to 30hz with quite a bit of authority in the doors which would definitely ease my sub troubles. How deep? Personally I'd take the SLS over the Seas for MB only duties. for the most part I have as much depth as i want.

    Welcome to the IHoP

this will definitely be 3-way active frontstage, and may have subs running IB behind the seats. for now i have to find amps that i like the look of, that are of high enough quality, and within my price range of $1

    Welcome to the IHoP

i'm back to undecided about the amps for the fiero, and seriously debating trying out the 8" seas excel nextel before the HAT L8s

    pics of my kicks!!!

i'm with you. he made my kicks about a month ago, and blood was everywhere lol he is dangerous, but his creations are the $hit PANZIES Hey now, that was the wood that pinched me on the other side of a 5" circle opposite the side with the blade. A piece of paper towel, a little electrical tape, 30 seconds later back in business. And I didn't even charge you extra for the blood stains lol. I keep the blade in mind at all times. I like my short fat fingers, all ten of them pshaw my favorite fix even if i have gauze and the proper tape around is superglue, i absolutely swear by the stuff for cuts.

at wal-mart today some old woman starts chatting it up to me and minji. i hate people that talk your ear off like you're supposed to give a damn. well she's doing it to the point that we can't leave without being rude... i don't even attempt to be polite, as soon as i see that minji is hooked and actually responds i just turn and walk away right when the lady is mid-sentence.....damn old people
