i'd be sticking my foot up colonie's ass. what's the point of owning your place if someone else gets to make all the rules for you? time to start pitching loaves on the lawn!!

lmfao@the fiero, knew it was one as soon as i saw the hamster wheel.

I agree with kent, and helotaxi in this situation. I love the 9mm round for practice, because it's cheap. The same reason my .22 woodsman gets shot more than all my other guns put together. but, for a defensive round i'd probably never carry it. Do i think it won't do the job? no, i'm sure it would, i just hate the round. I don't control the recoil of a 9mm as well as i control the .45acp. The 9mm isn't nearly as accurate to me (could be the recoil). but in the end i just don't like the round. I'm not a fan of bigger = better in gun calibers. If you can squeeze off a clip of .32 and put them all at the same spot you'll do more than enough damage. If you can put two .45s together but you don't shoot the gun well and hit his shoulder both times it isn't going to help you at all. Carry what you're comfortable with first and foremost. And one thing that i see way too often. SHOOT YOUR DAMN CARRY GUN. Practice with it often or you'll never even manage to pull it, let alone hit your target. I shoot my .22s more than anything but every time i go to the range i shoot my 1911. Granted it's not a real "carry" gun but it's what i carry when i'm in the car. Being at lovely VaTech i'm not legally allowed to carry most any other time.

i need to find old school amplification goodness. i'm still uncertain on what i want in the fiero, i think i'm just going to look until i find what i want then buy it. i would LOVE to find some black art series though

the garage didn't finish the fiero exhaust in time for me to drive it. but as soon as the exhaust is finished and i get some oil in the a/c lines it'll be driveable

yea i should have mentioned i was talking ruger autos, not revolvers.

i love 1911s, best handgun in my book but i agree with helo, the cocked and locked carry is limiting. I wouldn't suggest it for someone's first handgun. personally for a first handgun and especially for carry i suggest the snubnose .38. plenty of power, easy to handle, and more than accurate enough. I probably stand alone on this but i'm not a fan of rugers. have no experience with the sr9 but just haven't liked any of them that i've shot with the exception of the .22s. Don't get me wrong, i didn't have any awful experiences with any of them, they did their job, i just didn't like the guns, didn't shoot them well, and they didn't fit my hand at all. edit: you may also want to look at para ordinance if you want a 1911 style pistol. http://www.para-usa.com/new/product_pistol.php?id=16 i've heard mixed reviews but it seems most of them are from die hard 1911 fanatics that simply don't like someone trying perfect a perfect gun.

i WILL be building the zaph 3.5s, and probably using the 15"Q for a sub.

Glad to hear I am not counted in that 90% The only issue here is for me, alot of my training has come in handy in the occasional fight, but I want more. I will say this tho women like the gf u describe are a large part of the reason why we come back so incredibally pissed off. J i am jordans woman...and i have to say i think your statement about you being the one the girlfriend will call when he is overseas..is just plain nasty and stupid if some girl wants to cheat on her deployed boyfriend then shes a piece of chit....and not in love with her boyfriend shes not cheating on him b/c hes a military jerk off...its b/c she doesnt love him...otherwise why would she have gone out w/ him in the first place. 2nd...you cant stereotype that MOST military guys are jerks...there are jerks everywhere not just the military go to your local GYM youll find a ton of MUSCLE HEAD DOUCHE BAGS that think they are "IT" but they dont have the BALLS to go over and defend this country.BTW..when i went to visit jordan last week i met 3 capts...2 guys and girl the one guy was 23 the girl 23 and the other guy 28..the 28 year old was in charge of the convoys...DANGEROUS job...he loved it...he said he was soooo PROUD to have been there and that despite what ppl said WE ARE MAKING A DIFF and that he would go back in a minute..the other 2 followed up his sentiments..and as far as having a trade when they get out...MOST are taking college and/or CABLE classes, satalite comm. classes or computer classes....They were soo proud...KUDOS to them...Military people put their wants aside for something bigger. I give KUDOS to all military guys...ESPECIALLY INFANTRY!!!! i'll leave this alone, but only for you jordan
