Going to be hard to get four 12's for like $110 a piece that i would recommend over two SA'-15s. But yeah, why are you stuck on 3 kilowatts? I can say that running two SA-15's at 1500 watts a piece daily is not the safest plan. I don't know about you, but personally I hate worrying about burning a voice coil or causing over excursion. Have you heard two SA-15's receiving 600 watts a piece in an adequate box? Honestly I'd say if your convinced to run a 3k amp then search the internet till it's end for a pair of used Z 15's. Or Fi audio BL's. Or many many other subs.

If you don't plan on competing then why do you want an amp that can supply enough RMS for five SA series subs when you only have two? And I mean that question with no smartass nonsense. There are plenty good reasons!

i'm not going to pretend that I know how the N2 and ZCON compare because i haven't heard either, but the goals for the ZCON and N2 are different. Simple. You've had owners of both SSA and Fi say that you spewing false information. So why don't you stop?

The n2, the Fi driver you're talking about, sacrifices SQ for output. If it didn't then it wouldn't exist cause it would be the N1. The ZCON on the otherhand doesn't sacrifice sound quality for output. If any comparison can be done, i would imagine it would be the BTL N1 to the ZCON

If you're going to port the box at that frequency you really should run a SSF. Is it necessary? No of course it isn't. I personally would never run a ported enclosure without a properly set SSF. How low does the HPF go on the Crescendo?

Not sure if you're aware or not Todd, but i'm pretty sure that the OP got their money back (not that i'm suggesting that your views should change because of that at all. just letting you know ) I don't think it's wrong for Mark to give Kevin another shot. i don't know anything about Kevin's past other than what was listed, but that's enough for me to get a general idea of the type of business man he is. I did purchase some supplies from 1800 woofers during the opening savings discount he has. My transactions went well. Does that mean i throw all this crap out of the window because my transaction went smooth? Hell no. I even recommended one of my friends to NOT purchase from him because I didn't want him going through the risk. At the end of the day, i leave the banning up to Admins. let me ask you this, who on this forum DOESN'T know all the stories about Kevin? There's been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many posts about his questionable character that you'd have to really not even use the forum to not know the controversies that surround Kevin/Skar/1800 woofers. God I really hate this behavior of "ban so-and-so!". That crap is happening here and on my other favorite forum. If an Admin decides that a member is ban worthy, they will ban them. Plain and simple. It's not like Denim & Mark aren't aware of the situation. In fact, they probably know more about it than anyone here posting because they've (or one of them at least) have physically talked to Kevin about the issue in person. Accusing SSA for keeping him here as a vendor because they get income from it is just an ignorant assumption in my opinion.

If i had the guess? Two alts making ~350 amps and somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 xs3100's. I would buy one aq3500 and see how easy/difficult it is for you to keep the voltage adequate on that before going ahead and buying two. Why do you want 7000 watts for two BTL's? Just because some guy out there on youtube is doing it? I doubt the BTL's are made to take 3500 daily... if they were, they would probably be rated at 3500 watts. So i would buy ONE amp first and try it out before buying two. Adding another one isn't really difficult at all

I remember Fox before it blew up. I got my first dirtbike when i was 8 and we followed the AMA supercross circuit pretty religiously. I had to go to motocross stores to find fox clothing. Then I distinctively remember seeing a kid in about 8th grade wearing a Fox tee. I ask him "hey man! what do you ride?" and he looks at me like I'm insane. Get a car that you can see yourself driving. I gave up my lease car (2009 mustang) for my Explorer and the sole reason i bought an explorer was for the room in the trunk. Do I miss driving the mustang? Hell yes, everyday. Do I love my sound system? Well yes I do. Solution? Bought a motorcycle and kept the Explorer Personally I would look into a speedy hatchback type vehicle. But it doesn't sound like that's what you are looking for... If you want my personal opinion, I would take the 3000gt and put a pair of 12's in the trunk.
