Cadence Ultra Drive Z1200
Frostedflakejake posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Quick Question, I'm looking for a new front stage amp since the 3522 isn't really cutting it anymore. I'm searching ebay for used 2 channel amps and I came onto this "Cadence Ultra Drive Z1200" as well as many others. Before i start considering the Cadence I tried to look it up for RMS wattage and other specifications. Upon research, I've found different information from different reliable resources. However, i found nothing specifically on "Cadence Ultra Drive Z1200". I found stuff on a Cadence Z1200 being a mono bock, and stuff on a Cadence Z1200c being a 2 channel. I don't suppose anyone out there has any useful information for me on the Cadence Ultra Drive Z1200? Thanks ahead of time -
Thanks-Guys!

So I've been spending my summers in the upper peninsula of Michigan all my life. It's a great place, but needless to say, the mosquitoes here get pretty freaking ridiculous with our swamp out back. I've heard some pretty crazy remedies for trying to stop the itch (everything from mint leaves, to lemon juice, to dog saliva). I was wondering if anyone out there has any homemade remedies. Cause I definitely got the itch

Is that a 2nd gen BTL? -
I use facebook because tons of other people use facebook with open privacy settings (how the profile comes when you create it) and it's great to find people. It's bridged a gap as well with opposite sex attraction in my opinion. I mostly use it to find old friends. It's also makes it easy to get all my friends numbers when i break my cellphone which happens wayyyyyyyy too frequently.

mmmmm i remember when my package from db-r came

In my experience, Chris can have a bit of an attitude at time. But at the end of the day, I still think his Customer Service is top notch. I truly believe he conducts correct business practices, but sometimes he can get a little wrapped up in what he does. I doubt db-r is a full time job for him, but he acts like it is. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another product from him and have advised others to consider db-r when they consider buying Sundown Audio products

^ this. It helps me to tell if its the sub if i disconnect the the RCA's from the amp(s) that power your speakers so that all you can hear is the sub. Helps me alot! edit: also listen with all doors and truck/hatch open

I disagree that weed is universal. Pot isn't universal. Maybe in the rap industry, which I'm assuming is what was being referred to I liked the mixtape by Mac. Thanks for the link, i appreciated it!

My luck with car audio has just been bad! And i do mean luck, I don't mean stupidity. I made a thread a loooooong time ago about it, I can't find it at the moment so i'll make a short comprehensive list of whats gone wrong. Hopefully i can remember it all: 1) Iraggi sent me the wrong Alternator 2) db-r sent me an amplifier that really didn't work. Chris handled it realllly well though so I don't mind that. Plus, even if it was working I would have blown it anyways, which i did end up doing after he fixed the mistake that I had no control over. 3) UPS sent my battery to the wrong address and never told me. how do i know? They took the old box it was in (which had obviously been left outside of someones house in the rain) and stuck it inside of a new box. They even left the old shipping label with the wrong address on it. It really freaked me out. When you get a box with a battery inside and the box is wet you can start to worry! 4) SonicElectronix failed to tell me that they need to do a credit-card verification on orders over $500 untill i asked them two weeks after i ordered my products why they hadn't shipped out yet. 5) USPS delivered some ring terminals from Knu-Konceptz in a package that looked like it was handled by a Siberian Tiger. Only about 1/2 of the terminals were still in package. Knu hooked me up and sent me 2x as many terminals as my original order in another package! That's all i can remember right now... I know i'm missing something! I'll edit and add it later if i remember. I have done some stupid things though of course, like frying my outputs on the SAZ after i got it back from db-r. I do not know why i have bad karma around me I'm a pretty decent guy, at least i thought so!

Ouch that sucks about the door I think I'll probably save up and do quad SA-15's. But before i even do that i have to install my aeroports first! More bad luck? Walked up to my car for a calming drive to discover that someone stole my rear ball hitch... Who does that?!?! Really!

They cut the wood for my first boxflawlessly and i was very pleased. On the second box though they made a mistake on almost every cut 2/16ths short here, 3/16ths short there, 2 inches too long here, and so on. It took me so long to fix the mistakes they made But they do not make exact cuts so thus its not policy to refund you anything. However, as I've found with most home-depots, if you make enough of a scene they should take care of you. I wish your luck was better than mine, but it appears that we have the same bad luck with home depot and the panel saw operators
-
Man I got screwy cuts too. Mine were about 3 16ths short or long. They sucked so bad. I used small shims to try and even things up. Good luck

?? Don't see how that is similar to what Earl is doing at all. -

As I stated before: I used three different high regarded programs and all got 288. Well, technically two programs and one computing language. The confusion here is with the phrase "pemdas". It's just made to help kids in middle school remember order of operations; it isn't perfect guys! This thread couldn't have come at a better time though as we literally just talked about an example similar to this in class. In all honesty, if it wasn't for that example I wouldn't know the correct answer either. As earlier stated, if the operations have the same value of order (ex: multiplication & division OR addition and subtraction) you work through the problem from LEFT to RIGHT. Outside of parenthesis of course.

In need of a fairly large 2 channel.

Wait... you lost me. You have d4 sa-12's right? Why do you want to run them at 4 ohms instead of 1 ohm? Especially if you're going to buy a monoblock later... -

Sundown SAX-200.4 -
sounds like you should play around with plots in WinIsd
-
Multiplication and Division are the same step. They should be done in order of left to right after the parenthesis so the correct answer is 288. I'm surprised the ti-85 said it was 2... But it's definitely 288. Not only is what i stated correct, but Mathematica, Matlab, and Java all agree with me as well. (just tested)

Haha noooo shit! You did end up going with a 2nd gen 18" btl afterall?? I hope you enjoy it i know i enjoyed mine for sure.
