the two rectangular shiny slugs are the NEO part of the motor the metal with heat sink fins is aluminum. I have a N2 and the motor force on that thing is ridiculous. Most Neo motors you see are wayyyy over saturated with magnetic flux. There is a point where motor force becomes too much for the sub.If your looking for a N2 i may sell mine.

Yeah i also have the stinger volt meter and the numbers will move with very little bass. It is extremely apparent on leds.. I wonder why leds are more prone than other lights?? it must have to do at the switch frequency of the led??

I beleve it is simply shaking my vision too.. OK next time your driving play a song with a high frequency and look at peoples rims as they drive by. Hopefully you will see what i see. Instead of seeing a blurr when you look at rims driving by, you can see the spoke of the rim and threw the rim. It is very odd. I have had a system in my vehicle for 5 years and have never seen this effect. Also the system i currently have is not very loud, two mismatched 10s in a good box on proper power but the effect still happens. You don't need much bass just the right frequency and rpm of the rim. Its not the weed cause i would be able to see this all the time only happens on songs with high frequency bass in them..

Do any of you notice how if you look at rims on a car rolling down that street while playing a song with a high frequency that you can actually see the individual spokes almost like its slowed down. Its a trippy effect. Sometimes people rims will also look like there jumping up and down on some bass notes. I also get this similar effect when i play a 50 hz and up frequency while looking at led lights ( xmas lights, BMW spoiler Brake lights) these lights also move to the bass..It is an awesome effect very entertaining! I was wondering what is causing this and does anyone else experience this?? I think it has something to do with our eyes moving at the same frequency as which the lights are flickering... This is just a theory as i'm not sure why it happens??

I notice in my vehicle with my enclosure in the truck that with my front wondows down it helps out the lows kills the high hz and does get louder. But if i put my back windows down my low lows get considerably louder, while i lose response 45 hz and up.

It's all good. Already sent an email and they'll let me know when it's ready and I can pick it up. Already refunded my shipping too You should come to a bass ballin comp after you get that installed, its always nice to meet fellow bass heads in Vegas! Sounds good. I've been meaning to go to some comps just to see what I meter but I always forget lol. When is the next comp? I want to get my 15" SSD metered and then see the difference when I get the SP4 installed! Currently have the Rubicon 2500 hooked up to the SSD and it's a bit louder now lol. i Would like to hear your system, i have a btl 15 N2 in a trunk and i hit 141.9 on music. i would like to see what that ssd could hit. Im not sure when the next one is just check the website bassballin.com for upcoming shows.

ahhhhhaha good old krytonightwhite, him and his silly setups!

That looks like a pretty good design. It should slam the lows, 30 hz is a great tuning. I would build it, just throw some bracing in there or you'll have box flex.

I don't think the problem is from not enough port area.. It is most likely from not flaring the ends of the PVC for the port..

Your crossover should be set at about 80hz, If it is turned all the way down you wont get much output.

I would go with a ported box in 1.6- 2.0 cubes tuned to 33 hz with 25-30 sq inches of port.. You need to post the max dimensions of the vehicle your going to be putting this box in, to get more help
