Those doors totally fit that truck. Looks awesome!

I think the punch pros have a passive built in.

No problem

Wire from amp to the "in" then wire the mid and tweet to the labeled points on the xover.

I've never used the crescendo set, but most are the same concept. Does the crossover have any labeling on it? Tweet, mid, etc? One wire(+ and -) will go from amp to the crossover. Then connect the tweeter and mid to the correct points on the crossover. Repeat for other side. Edit, beat me to it.

Taramps price vs reliability
hdrox88 posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I am soon to be grabbing a new sub amp and was offered a new taramps 5k for a pretty good price. I have just read several times on the questionable durability/reliability of the taramps name. Is it worth it to spend near to twice the price for the same power? I am seriously torn here... For what it's worth, 2 xcons or ethos will be on the receiving end of whatever amp I choose. Most likely xcon as I already have one. -
I'll need to get that book one of these days, just never been much of a book reader. :/

Glad you found the issue. Upload vids to youtube, then link or embed here.

What kind of response can be expected of the trident compared to the ethos? I was using winisd to model the ethos 15 in the rec'd box and it shows a peak(5.5db) at ~45hz. Not quite what I expected for the way people describe them digging low. I know cabin gain can change things. Modeling my xcon shows a very flat response and in my tahoe it seems to have a mild peak in the 50hz area. I'm just trying to make sense of what I am seeing.

The more work you put in, the more you will get out of it. I did the full treatment to mine. While it was quite time consuming doing the trimming to get the panel to fit correctly, I'm glad I did it and now it's done.

Umm...tails are already done. I will not be doing the headlights...

Taramps price vs reliability

Right now I am looking at the HD5k or an Ampere 5k. $362 difference. I'm starting to lean in favor of the Taramps as that extra money buys another battery, and I could build a kind of forced induction air box for the amp to mute the noise and keep it cool at the same time. Though that Ampere is a dead sexy beast, lol. -

You should see the voltage those amps require. That's where they get away with that kind of power with only a single 1/0 power and ground input. -

I just have a bad feeling the fan noise will to too much for me and I don't want to go voiding any warranty just to quiet it down. I have another amp in my sights, I just hope it's still available. -

How involved is swapping fans? I don't always listen to my stereo loud as balls so having audible fans, let alone loud ones, isn't for me. I'm sure any warranty would be void by doing so? -
I've got my eye on some led bulbs and a drl mod that should be fun once I decide to go for it.

I also seem to remember you mentioning some problems at one point. Is it a purchase you would second guess if you were to do it over again? Are the fans as loud as some people make them seem? It would be going under the seat in the second row so fan noise is a concern. -
While it would look good with the right color temp, most times hid + reflector = headaches for other drivers at night. I know I hate the glare from them when not done right.

Looking for saz-3500, bc-3500, aa-3800 or similar power/quality amp. Looking to see what you guys have laying around. Must be in perfect working condition, good cosmetic condition is a plus.
-
Might even stretch up to 5k depending on what is offered.
-
Can't say that I am surprised no one has offered up yet.

Lol I'd be curious to see what crescendo thinks happened to it after taking a look at it.
