I got a Clarion CZ702 coming... Question on the EQ
Shogen replied to altoncustomtech's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
So you can pick 5 out if those frequencies and it will cover a small range with the numbers you picked as the center point? Seems really cool... wonder how it would sound. -
finished yet???

looks sweet.... can you take a quick vid of the band/crossover switching? I'm not fully understanding what you mean by "set any"..... thanks for sharing!!! -
whatever 18's you have now are not good enough for the setup you'd like... I personally would tune to 10hz since you're not happy with the 80hz you previously tuned your enclosure to. If anything I'd say that possibly you're having issue with the crank on your subs right now and that's why you're not happy with the setup. Got any pics of your current vehicle and setup so we can drool a bit?

Lucky you they have the custom scene modes in that camera. They do look awesome though! Using the 18-55?

Should I buy Discover G31 UPS Batteries??

Not only that but terminal design makes for easier installation ... at least for people less skilled like myself. LOL -
Good God !!! Love your build still to this day....

In the crop bodies, in my opinion Nikon has better build and better focusing system but the Canon is king when it come to videography. To the OP the best way is to go to your local camera store and try different camera's out. I would also suggest trying out a Sony Alpha Nex-7 because it has the same sensor as the DSLR's, interchangeable lens but without the added weight. I usually shoot with a Tokina 11-16 lens and lugging it around gets tiresome due to weight. True weight can be an issue. I never recommend the NEX series as they use a unique mount which means limited lens variety compared to the standard DSLR. I know they have adapters but that becomes cumbersome and adds more weight and detracts from the balance/feel of the compact slr. But Sen is looking less involved now. Lol

too vague and that makes this wrong..... lenses, lenses, lenses!!!

You meant "mm" right??

Although all that was said is true... I still think for his purposes at this point he could get a good DSLR and a decent lens under under 1k. Nikon's on sale at Amazon right now. Think a 3200 is just over $400. He can buy a nice walk around lens with remaining budget. Or get a used nicer lens as well. The market for used Nikon and Canon equipment is huge. I'm not a professional but I've acquired a few lenses because my walk around didn't serve EVERY purpose. Mainly for extended zoom. Picked up a used Minolta beercan lens for $60 and love it. Would love more zoom but don't "need" it now. Might rebuy a prime lens again for "just-in case" purposes. But even a nice 1.8 new is under $250.

Nice! Thanks for sharing bro!!!

My main uses are: Pictures of Cars People Landscapes and touristy kidna stuff.. Zoo animals, etc. like I was telling Sen.... my walk around lens is a Carl Zeiss 16-80 .... Great range and great quality.....
-
The 18-50 are usually decent and suffice until you can get a better lens down the road. I'd look at second hand sigmas.

This was taken with my slr. Julian's is even better and so are the newer Sony cameras.
-
Also, I dont do this as a career. Editing is easy and with software like adobe lightroom or even Google picasa (I use both) you can edit RAW image files with ease.
-
You could get a "walk around" lens.... I currently use a 16-80 for like 95% of my photos... I dont know specific models bit I know there are similar offerings for all brands out there. Also lower f-stop lenses are generally best for all around shooting as well.

Awesome! That's great!
