I opened this topic to compare the specs of the worlds best SQL woofers and see what woofer is the best in the SQL category. honestly there is no best "SQL" since that is a very loose term .... also, the "best" is usually whatever fits your budget, goals, your install and restrictions..... sooooooo give us that info first I'm not here to buy car audio, I already own high end car audio. a build log would be a good idea then? Show off your system and install.... we all love the pix.... :-)

SP4 SQ subFS 24.7 This thing goes low. Deep bass! Spl: 87.8dB 1W/1m 3000w RMS this woofer has lots of power but its not efficient so it wouldn't get nearly as loud as the other woofers listed above so.. I didn't list it as a part of the list. I would compare it to a evil, xxx and other subs like that.

not sure what the point of this is... but the SP4 should be mentioned for whatever this is... smh

Not sure what you should do...maybe just scale down to one zcon and better box???
-
true.... isn't the X series not out? and power handling is different?
-
TBH going bigger on lower power is mentioned alot but you could add polyfill to the smaller box ..... how much I don't know... but I think if you go smaller and lower tuning from whatever it is you'd be fine

I'm missing the part where it is said to be bad to be on the lower side? If I remember correctly you can go to like 1.8 cubes per sub???? what can't you do that and just lower tuning a tad? wouldn't it be worth it to try that first and see how it does before trying to replace them already?

nice boxes!
-
Why can't you go smaller? what is the size now? (I has no desire to read through thread again) lol
-
make a smaller box for the zcon???
