What size subs should i use?

I highly doubt you'll be able to use the same box for 15" BTLs let alone for 18" subs.. Your baffle would probably crackle and pop under the pressure...

looking for a single sub set up

just click on the speaker link... and look around... From personal experience, I own the SSA Icon 12" and love it... I had it sealed for about 3-4 months and just recently put it into a ported enclosure... The output on the same amplifier has become more defined and seems forceful with rock music which I listen to once in a while... But it sounds like it is waking up a bit, soon I will upgrade the electrical and then really power up this subwoofer...

    18" subaru outback build

Also with t-nuts... how did you install them? Pilot hole smaller than the nut and hammer in? I just haven't decided on what to do about mounting my subwoofer... On my old box I am almost sure I had a leak and it was killing the sound... I kind of think the same thing is happening with my new enclosure... Looking for a more secure method..

  8. Those are great points... I'd still lean with the 3500D because of size and install... But either way will work ....
  9. Well it will sound amazing.... I wouldn't go near HDD anymore.... if it is a portable device then HDD is more likely to get damaged....
  10. My badd.... I misread that and thought DB-r ... I've never seen this site b4...
  11. HO alternator on DB-r site? can you link it???
  12. I've had an M5, D2, D2+, U5 and a 6.... I only use the D2 right now since I've given the others to family members and now ex-girlfriends... lol I'm looking to pick up a D3 soon though... I really only like ones that have a memory card reader as well.... love anything with Android on it...
  13. Get the 3500D.... best choice...

    ATOMIC AUDIO - CAUTION!!!!!!!!!&#3

I have yet to be wronged by Kevin and I don't think I will completely believe the statements.. I've read most of the claims and links and I still haven't really seen it being the same guy??? Anyway, I have no knowledge of the Atomic issues either but if something were to be badd I damn sure wouldn't defend anyone who has... So far Kevin has been reliable and honest with me when I've dealt with him.. That is all I can say about that... If you really think/know it was Kevin at all these other sites then post something more than just claiming he is the same guy.. I cannot confirm this by just taking "your word" for it...

    Big 3?

the bass boster is about 1/4 the way up, gain is about 3/4 the way up, and the frequency thing is also about 1/4 the way up And that is why your lights are dimming Just for curiosity : why does this matter ? I will add a secondary battery this afternoon, so, I would like to know about that. Because he is clipping the shit out of his amp which is causing his problem. Correct-o-mundo!!! ... Boost on any system is almost always damaging anyway, unless you specifically know what you are boosting.. I'd turn the gain down quite a bit and set the boost to 0. I'd also look at turning down your amplifier gains for the interiors if you have them amplified... You're going to end up damaging something or being unhappy with it overall if you continue with the setup as is.... Def add the wire from alternator to battery and fuse it for 150-300a... And I'd suggest setting the gain with a DMM since it will be more accurate than what you have currently...
