lol.... why are people so angry? you didn't lose money, plus you were most likely wasting time online regardless .... I think it isn't so badd so far... and the build logs are amazing and many on there...

slightly more output meaning for argument sake 'volume' ... But I don't think it'd be too noticeable... I'd say you should look more into your research.. Whatever you've read was misleading you somewhat... If you want to do 15" then 15" it is... But if you want ear shaking bass then you'll most likely want to port it.... The enclosure will get pretty damn big once you do that.. But I think a tc or similar sized vehicle could accommodate that.. Also, wiring configurations do not affect sound or make things "tighter"... like I was saying, you haven't researched alot it seems and the little you did was most likely so generic and misleading you are saying these things... Anyway, I'd go for 2 ohms because of less current draw and heat... Aside from that, please look through the past threads of the subwoofer section to get some more information... HERE

I personally have been welcomed kindly on SMD... Yes there is misinformation but that happens here too as I've seen the corrections in the past... People there seem friendly until you make the mistake of crossing a MOD it seems... I don't know personally so I'll stop at that.. And I have seen the DC love but I've been part of many threads where they don't even think to mention it because DC wasn't in that level/category of discussion...

there wouldn't be a difference in "sound" between those impedances... power draw and output yes... where did you hear that a 15" would go lower? If you had equivalent models in 12" and 15" in similar spec'd enclosures then you might perceive a loudness difference but none in the "lows" ...

Some people say stock alt and 2 batteries are good enough up to 3k... It's all depending on how "your" car handles the draw... You'd have to install to find out... Now setup wise... what are you looking for? music type? give some more info pls...

Just for reference.. I am powering a 1700w XCON with a 500 amplifier.. you don't need to feed RMS or close to it for results... In my sealed application it is almost moving the same amount of air as my ICON ported... almost!!

Although I still cannot fully believe the hype, I thought Facebook was created for connecting and togetherness? Why do people act so ignorant on there? lol .. I'd shoot myself but I can handle idiots very well ... Someone like this man: Mohammed Savage Comments to brother's gf on the regular that just ain't appropriate and doesn't seem to know boundaries... I say to that!!!

No I meant the dcons. I was joking. It was a fail, lol. big fail... never joke about a man's wall!!! lmfao This Dcon 15 will be in the $135 to $139 range. Not the right motor for an 18" version. also insanely great pricing...!!!

Wiring to 2 ohms would provide more efficiency and less current draw... I am assuming you're using a Brutus 2400.1???

yea I wish,,, I have fallen off... My best friend is a gamer/tournament player and when I hang with him there is soda and f*in energy drinks galore plus he is huge ... So hopefully adding him into my routine and dieting with him will help me stay focused... I need to drop from 196 to about 170-175lbs...

I was gonna try that but with my work habits it proves a little difficult.... I don't have time away from the desk/out of customer sight to really just do that... I do 3 "meals" ... Breakfast and lunch usually consist of fruit/veggies sometimes I get the frozen veggies with rice combo.. They're so cheap and low in calories that it makes sense... I also throw some naked nuts/fat free peanut butter/snack bars once in a while between meals .. And also a shit load of water.. I think I can consistently consume between 10-12 gallons a week.... no joke

lol... I do have a Camry... Wall the XCON you're saying??? My install skill set lies with computers... not cars... So unless you're coming to Jersey area soon and doing the work for beers and pizza I don't see that in my future...lol
-
amazing news... Maybe I'll sell the XCON and get 2 15" DCONs and port them....

I only put the link directly in the chat box and it does it automatically...

all I know is veggies/fruits are a God send... I supplement any 2 meals for veggies... and the meals I do eat are boneless, skinless chicken and fish.. No more red meats, at least it has been a rarity for my diet as of late. Try and have food cutoffs, meaning a time that you "stop" eating. I have stuck by the no later than 7pm rule since that is usually the latest I will have a break at work sometimes. Cutting carbs helps but I haven't looked into it enough myself as I've been sticking to fruits/veggies ... I do get more easily tired from workouts, but if I work through it I'm fine most of the time. I don't know if this is any real advice but its what I been doing and I dropped close to 20lbs pretty quickly. I'm joining a YMCA for the purpose of cardio(swimming) since I can't force myself to run frequently enough for it to make a dent...

haven't resolved it yet... Will try re-doing the socket to see if it was just a bad connection... if that works I'll do both sides just to make things even and easier to manipulate in the future...

haven't used mIRC in too long man... but I didn't use it heavily either, mainly to setup CSS matches or get together for SoulCal tournaments...
