Do all Mechman alts use a standard 8mm stud? I only ask because I have a feeling the factory alternator for my Camry is not 8mm... Could be wrong..

I think comparing sealed to ported makes a big difference as well ... so there is NO answer for that... Go with the cheapest route that you can do OPTIMAL installation...
