3 way can surely help the weakest link which is midbass, but it also creates the biggest mess in your imaging. Since your thread is entitled imaging help and you asked for SQ it is rather counter intuitive. First question is do you really care about the stage and imaging? When asked about your needs above you didn't reference this at all? I ask because by far the easiest way to gain midbass output is to use your subs to do it. It will seriously simplify your install, but of course at the cost of the stage. One other caveat, if you goal is to do this all at "loud as fuck" volumes then no normal 3 way set will do it either. Not sure that is your request yet though either.

Fuck me, my lung is on the desk. First bike ride of the year and I ripped out around 7 miles in a bit over 20 minutes. I'm an idiot/.

Anything that you've heard that you've liked? My idea of rich, smooth and detailed and yours are different.

I try my rubber dingy all the time

If it isn't listed it may be severely under or over priced. People sometimes don't realize how well those boats hold value...
-
Which one? Where's it listed?

The difficulty is if you truly want that much bass you will need WAY more up front to actually blend. SQ setups aren't going to have a bass bias. My question has been clarified. By no means is that what you want. Perhaps you should describe your goals instead of using terminology that isn't applicable. This is exactly why in the new member posting guidelines we ask that SQ isn't used. Just because that description doesn't fit what you want doesn't mean your goals are bad, but to help you meet them we need to know what they are.

Don't write him off yet. Stranger things have happened. Good luck to your family. Quite the opposite. Now is the time to show your love and support. That is what enables people to fight through stuff like this. Hope he gets better!

People learn and people teach in different ways. What you perceive as "knocking down" may not be so at all. You have to remember that true emotion can not be conveyed through type. For instance, you've changed your screen name to chill, yet the way in which you post shows much animosity, You've typed about people showing respect then also typed about not giving a fuck, so there's blatant hypocrisy. So what I see is you talk about change, but deep down, the demons are still there. I applaud you for making the change, for trying, for realizing there was a problem. I used to get into fights all the time, not give a fuck about anything, etc. . . It sucked. It's hard. I don't know what changed for me, but one day it's like I just got sick of feeling like that. But my demons sometimes poke their heads out and no matter what. they are always there. It's all a matter of how you control them. Good luck to you in your venture towards happiness, just remember to keep an open mind and remember that everyone has a different perception. Well said. A bit more detail on the teaching part though. A teacher that does the problem for you is a fail, a teacher that makes you think, ask the right questions so you learn how to solve the problem yourself is a win. It is never the other way around.

198.99 free shipping, but they could be fake, not sure though. Maybe I will play it safe and order throught MJ. Could ask MJ to match and if they are fake they'll tell you.

I've been an Oakley man for many years. I had one pair last 11 years and when they finally broke, Oakley gave me 25% off a new pair. I've had the new pair for four years now without and issue, and I've had some other inbetween that I've since sold as well. MJ repairs/replaces for around 25% usually. The only ones I had problem with were when my boat decided to make them fly off my head at 75mph. They sink. Of course, I did have the lenses replaced as well, but that was complete operator error. Can't drop them off the roof onto cement. Other pair is going on 7 years with no issues and the lenses are still perfect. My car pair is 2-3 yrs as well and are like new. I had a strap on. A few huge waves and seriously hauling balls and they didn't care. I didn't either as I was nearly shatting myself. Boats that are overpowered are a hoot and frightening as well. Chine walk mixed with 50' boat wakes and the rpm limiter is your friend.

Above is true, but I also don't want to see you stuff those in a 5 cube box. Not saying you are, but in your last thread you wanted to use a 5 cube box. That and you typed SQL. Not a term that means anything here. If you need clarity on that you can reference my signature. I'm just glad you aren't being further confused by Kevin. His response to you on what will work well was downright shameful.

If they are cheaper, I'd be wary of fakes. I was under the impression MJ sets their prices and outside of closeouts that is what it is.

Mine are polarized, but I want something different. I have always liked MJ, but never bought them. Now I think these will be my next sunglasses. http://www.mauijim.c...j_lenscolor=155 Actually their prices are never better than on their own webpage. Last time I ordered from them I ordered 8 pairs and returned 7. They actually even recommend that. *make sure those are the glass lenses, they sure look like it. Fucking awesome to look through if they are
-
Clarification anytime. IMO the MJ lenses are 10x the Oaks. I've had them all but am addicted to the MJ's after having some. The Bronze isn't super dark, but it's dark enough to spend all day on the lake. Gray would be better for fishing in bright light, but you'd be shocked how well the polarization works.

Rayban frames are disposable, terrible quality. Used to be great, too bad.
-
Neal, anytime...not that I remember helping, lol
-
#1 Glass #2 Maui Jim HCL Bronze Revo also makes nice glass, but I am not a huge fan of their frames on my face.
-
I should add though I suppose that the 8 coaxes and sub that are in it never get wailed at full volume anyways.
-
Ugh, can't believe it's almost July and I haven't finished the boat stereo yet. Fuck me.

I guess there will be no cold smoking salmon this week then. What you need is a lake.
