Why are you stupid and lazy?
-
You obviously know everything and are going to do what this magic shop says and have no interest in listening to any advice here so why even ask? Bolting speakers into a factory location and connecting a wire is NOT an install btw.

So by that measure, surgery performed by the best "surgeon" in the darkest reaches of Africa must be good becuase he's the best in the area. False logic. They are one of the best installers in the midwest. Anyone that does spl or anything has them install their stuff. And that means nothing other than they are good at convincing people to spend money with them. I can't tell you how many things I've fixed from "the best" installers in the Midwest.

Or to say that differently the 4ohm option is stupid
-
I'd rather have the 8
-
The "shop" probably does not. If you don'tnknow why then a one amp solution is definitely best
-
don't blame the lack of rears for a poor install

Do you already have the other Dayton's? Using 2 midranges is going to completely defeat the whole purpose of a 3 way install. You also could get by with a much cheaper tweeter as the one you have works in a 2 way with the RS225 if you can use exotic slopes or actually get an RS28 that meets spec. Surprised you haven't given us a dissertation on how the RS28 is the same as the Usher. The JL might be better, no experience with that driver; however, no matter what the ONLY way to salvage those kicks is to change them to IB. While Honda's idea in general can help, it'll create to narrow of a FR peak with those drivers and they really aren't at all midbasses but midranges that due to their diameter have some reasonable extension. If you don't have the drivers we'll have a lot more liberty to help as for a car install the ones you've chosen so far don't really work out so well for a 3way. If you do, I'd contemplate flipping/returning and starting over.

Fucking awesome. That was thrilling in an all fun and tiny bit spooky way. I'm still shocked at how well it turns and the insane take off. It might be able to pull my fat ads up fast enough for me to try standing on water. It's propped for power NOW. 340hp and a top speed of 37-38mph while only being 2' longer than my old boat which nearly did 80mph with only 250hp. I bought an altitude boat so it is overpropped for where I live, but convenient when you have 3500+lbs of water and 10 people on board. Even loaded down it'd get you up easy. Hell without full ballast I NEVER use anywhere near full throttle to pull people up otherwise it just yanks the rope out.

Didn'tgoogle but Cerakote?

My port may be conservative, you should hear port noise and if you do it shouldn't be bothersome. Mid 30's for Mach at full gain. If you really run out of space you could make it smaller, but I wouldn't make it all that much.

Matt, how'd you like exceeding 1.3G's turning?
-
Well the sled I'd do it to is actually my ditch banger, not the tree chaser so it may not be as bad. Doesn't need to last more than 10 rides either as its a test just for next year
-
After a year does it still peel off "nice"

I want matte white for sure. Need some white ski's then too

Somewhere around 55 sq in will be fine...depending on power. With less than RMS you can go lower and vice versa.
