Adding sweetness to something salty is not "surf & turf" and can be a very good idea. Having two completely unrelated proteins as "main courses" is asinine. <- Not letting douchey happen

I'd still bet there is a wiring concern. Re-attach everything. Surprising how little details can act very strange when it comes to electronics. -
holy shit I think it might have progressed to a face to face interview in IL Sweet! Not sure how I missed that post the first time, but nice work. Where in IL?

In heart I agree with you... But my food hole loves it. One of my new favorite dishes I had ay Manny's is a pulled pork slider with a big diver scallop on it. The pulled pork is elevated from the addition. Now I know that isn't exactly steak and lobster, but sometimes in the right setting, it is SO good. Not really what I meant. If the seafood is an elevation it's fine. Lots of things benefit from a little Uni Just having a steak with shrimp/lobster/crab as two proteins is what I was referring to. Flat out don't understand. Also, if one was a first course and another a second that is also way more reasonable, but two on the same plate is teh stupid.

And am I the only one that thinks the whole idea of surf and turf is absolutely fucking ridiculous? Sort of like having a hamburger and a peanut butter jelly. I mean seriously could you have two more opposed dishes?

I don't think so. They crack right in half by hand. Nothing hard about that. You've seen me eat. Now realize I get to crack the ones I eat, plus Aidan's plus Tanner's. Cracking 5lbs of 'em isn't really fun....and it's easy to eat 5lbs.

Haven't made a strip in a while, amusingly I almost grabbed a whole strip roast out of the freezer earlier but realized it was a bit big for the 2 and 2 halves of us. I do have some Bok Choy left so maybe I'll have to do something with it.
