My laptop is pretty much shot. Needs $800 worth of screen and fan. Time to buy something else. Considiering I: surf web, email/outook, Excel, Word, and generally dick around I'm contemplating an Ultrabook. Any reason why not? Travel ability including battery life are paramount. A desktop less than 10 cable docking station to two monitors is key as well.

Sorry for the delay. And the choices are a bit abstract. I pulled aside what I thought made sense and it was 60gb and then started removing. Might have given you a really odd collection although I tried to balance a little history along with breadth. Other option would have been what I dig atm, but that you may not like and then wouldn't be exposed to others. Not easy. That and having a card arrive non-existent, the other one DOA and then my life being my life I failed at being helpful.

I am always open to new ideas and methods. Technically, I am not trying to bulk, I'm actually dropping weight (not necessarily planned). As for me, it is the sheer amount of protein volume needed to just maintain. To gain and bulk, it would have to go up even more. What has your body done to let you know you need that protein? Reading some source saying it is appropriate is not a good reason. Not saying that is the case. I personally am a protein fiend, but in a natural way. I get nearly instantaneously grumpy when I don't have enough but it's NEVER been an issue with needing more. I played with whey a bit when biking and whether I used it or not it didn't change my feelings.

Aerobic exercise benefits from carbohydrates. I see no reason to ever use an overly processed anything. Doesn't mean eating some things are bad, but in excess is terrible. And yes cheese is processed.
-
Read the contents. Not saying all preserved tuna is bad, but the process to preserve meat usually involves things that are absolutely terrible for you. I will also never agree with building mass as a good idea. Flat out don't understand. Exception being if you need to in order to be healthier, but if not for the sake of what?

You really need to switch proteins. Chicken is the LAST animal anyone should ever eat. Okay, that and turkey, not sure which is worse but I try to avoid them at all costs. I am limited on time and range due to the amount of protein need to take in to maintain, and I can only eat so much tuna. But you have a specific goal above and beyond being healthy. So "empty" protein isnt so empty. Same with whey or gemma or any other protein source. They are supplemental to a goal aside from being healthy and fit. If this was a fitness forum, we could post progress pictures, but don't need that stuff being spread on the net under the wrong pretense. Ant! Also if your limiting how much tuna you eat because the mercury content then look up how selenium plays a role. Was not limiting it due to that, just due to only ok with eating 5 cans a week or so. Canned tuna is NOT food Exactly, haha, just dense protein for holding me over. You need more real food Aaron. All the weird extra protein and stuff you are taking is counterproductive and unhealthy. Sure for bulking it can be a helpful thing, but I also seriously question the whole bulking mentality. Step one should be health. Any other goal is a strange pretext based on social needs that don't exist. Exceptions there are, but when I look at the lack of real food being eaten by those in here and the amount of artificial supplements being taken it makes me sad. There is a reason that America is the obese country. It isn't from protein's, but it is from what i call empty calories. Processed shit that has nothing positive for your body that is tough to digest. The supplements and protein in a can exhibit many of the same features as other empty foods. There are so many natural ways to get protein that taste good. Of course your body is now so confused by the fake shit it will deceive you on what is actually good for it. This of course is the problem with empty calories. Somehow they are addicting. If you can cleanse them out of your system completely for a month, your cravings will all of a sudden warp into what your body needs instead of what you are training it to want. Over and over I've seen this amongst healhty people. They never say, oh, I better eat a xxxx today. It's xxxx sounds really good. And it's earnest. People with what I will call eating disorders are different. Case and point think of what is your "favorite" nasty fast food item. Ever notice how you don't really crave it until you have it and then you want it again quickly? Bad habits are super easy to train your body on, good ones much harder.

Didn't I tell you to buy Wakame? SUPER good for you and yummy. When you say stronger, you mean the soup, tofu or what? Noodles are also good, green onions, a bit of sake, shitake mushrooms, deep fried or grilled tofu, shrimp, fish cakes.... I dont remember the wakame, but I will get some. And mushrooms. I like a lot more miso than what seams to be "normal". I tried using more kombu and more bonito last night while making some and it made the broth better. Maybe I am just so used to in your face flavors that the subtle flavors get missed on me. I have tried udon noodles in the miso and buckwheet noodles. I am such a fan of really toothy udon noodles that I may stick with those. I think the buckwheet noodles got a hair over cooked. I was shocked how fast they softened. Normally the Japanese would use a very thin noodle, more like vermacelli but of course made with rice flour

sound processor?

A few details 1) Terrible idea to buy a comp set and run it active. If you have the capability to setup an active system right you can buy WAY, WAy better drivers for less money. 2) Two sets of comps is flat out a terrible idea. If you are short on output there are MUCH better ways of achieving this 3) 2001 Tahoe is not the most friendly for an SQ setup. Terrible dash and the door mounts require a ton of work to get solid. Without some serious fab in the kicks staging is far from trivial. 4) "Keep up with the bass" is a seriously backwards statement. The easiest way to do this though is to turn up the LP on the subwoofer to include higher frequencies. Of course this defeats the staging and fidelity, but if you don't you will need SERIOUS cone area on your mids to play midbass. That being said I SERIOUSLY doubt you actually even want it to "keep up: -
Stop reading morons posts on SMD. There has been a recent huge flux of misinformation regarding power and enclosure size as well as the effects and reality of impedance rise. This of course is not surprising considering the biggest rip off in car audio happens to be the completely useless DD-1

The ONLY food that is viable in a can are tomatoes. And we can thank the piece of shit American consumer for that being the case.

Hey, you didn't respond to my long anti-chicken post. I thought that would rile a feather or two.

Number 1 rule in life is do what is working. Number 2 is to look back and learn and adjust. Keep doing what you are doing, but with the spin on improving it and you are on the right path.

He answered your question, follow the manufacturer's recommendations. Honestly and not trying to be a dick, if you did a little more research yourself you never would of had to have asked the question. Manufacturers recommendations are always solid but with more experience you can adjust to better suit your goals. He will have you chasing your tail for as long as you will let him. Ignore him. Fortunately I am not the one that has to rely on this forum to deepen my pocket on his arrogance would have been gone. Ha, even the guy who despises me states I answered your question. As for the chasing your tail comment, that only happens to those unwilling to try to think. If you aren't willing to even try well then by default it'll happen no matter what you do. Of course you could go to a boner central forum and get the answer you have already decided that you think you want. Just expect it to be a major fail in reality....although if you accepted it and belived it you'll probably never notice and preach it. Pretty classic in the world of car audio. Ask edub, he drinks the kool aid. M5 a troll? This forum tiny? People don't like coming here? No one said you were an idiot, but if you want to run back to a forum to bash this site instead of making an effort to work with the people who are offering you assistance, then it shows why you're on that forum and not here. Not trying to start anything, but on this forum, we try to take an intelligent approach to problems or questions, and usually that entails starting out with the most information possible before just tossing out answers. As for how your setting your gains, good luck, I continue to see topics showing up across the net with blown sub woofers from installs using that tool. If you want easy answers with minimal information provided while not really making the most of what could be, you were in the right place before. If you want to do it with a little more planning or preparation though logical discussion, then this is the correct forum. a tool doesnt have a brain, it does what it does and that is it. Jackasses who dont use it correctly will blow shit. A tool doesn't have a brain, but of course neither does anyone usng a DD-1. Only thing it's good for is filling some rip-off artists pockets by stealing from audio noobies. Absolutely useless for anything.

And seriously, if there is any way we can encourage, help, support, guide or whatever. ASK. Definitely want the best for you.

I seriously doubt the meat was the problem...although I have to admit that I come from the other spectra. I eat extremely balanced and more than 2x what anyone else I know eats and tip the scales at about 205 atm. Being 6'7 though that doesn't leave a lot of meat behind. I commend your effort and interest. I've posted some of my dietary comments before on the site and think you've chosen a good location to discuss them. There are a variety of super well rounded individuals in the hop with viewpoints that you can utliize by choosing which YOUR body responds to. Sure it's hard to measure because nothing will come quickly and actually stay, but some diligence and a change WILL bring about measurable results. I would encourage you to change your thoughts a little bit. Instead of making weight loss your primary goal, make being healthy your primary goal. It will put a positive spin on what is really important instead of letting societal rules determine what you need. In your reply you basically stated that you are trying to avoid the grave, but came to the conclusion that weight is the issue. It isn't, but it is a by product of the issue. Time to address the issue. And although the net result is the same to the scale perhaps, the pyschy and gains you get from really chasing what you need is much healthier. It will also keep the losses promised and realized by diets that are only very temporary solutions at the wayside. And those are never healthy in the long or short term.

So far we've seen that you've done nothing. Perhaps plugged some stuff into WinISD, looked at some simple graphs and drew some conclusions based on what I'm not sure. As for the manu rec'd, not sure how you think comparing 1.75cuft and 2.25cuft is math. I don't get why you think this would be an upgrade. You claim to understand and use tools that will help but the simple explanation is right in front of you. Use it. I think you are trying hard to have others tell you something you think you want to hear so that you can move forward with what you've predetermined (based on a false pretext) that you should do. -

And depending on your needs there may be much better options -
Nice work! Along with your diet I'd like to understand your goals. Weight alone is only a subset. And again, don't look at me as a nutritionalist or anything other than a very perceptive world traveler with a tongue for food and a never satiated desire to eat.

What's better? Empty calories that you chew or providing your body what it needs?
