    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

They want $2k for that thing. I see a $30 blower, 2 $50 motors, 2 $50 batteries, $100 worth of remote and nonsense, and 2 $100 motor controllers. ...all that being said, I expect to cut the price of the remote and motor controllers down by 1/3...but don't know how yet.

Figured an old snowblower is the cheapest way to get a track and driver that can take a tongue weight of 600lbs.

Hmm. Thinking about building one of these: Wish this guy would call me back: https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/grd/d/craftsman-23-track-snowblower/6581469807.html Add a couple electric motors, 2 motor controllers, 2 deep cycle batteries and a remote. I have another use for it as well, but that you won't find out about until I have one.

Probably need 26's for that. My wheels are off 2x a year though and pad changes are easy. ....what isn't is that these are not dust boot protected. Motherfuck. Makes you change the damn seals and clean the pistons up almost every year. I NEVER would have bought them had I realized. Of course I noticed when I installed them, but didn't think about it at all. fucking shit show with our weather.

Possible they won't actually clear, but pull two pins and the pads are out.

I wasn't referring to brakes with my comment. That hasn't changed, although my Wilwoods are WAY easier. Can do a pad change without taking my wheels off

They were all SUPER easy to work on...until V8. When they did that they fucked everything else up too.

I don't shoot pictures from my phone. I do snap things that are memories, but they are not pictures. While yes a factor in a phone, it is far from the critical one. I should add I am in a place where I can buy any phone and I don't pay for it. Otherwise I would shop differently. Oh hell, just realized I could have replaced mine 3+ years ago but am too cheap with company money as well to do so. If it does what I need I don't give a shit about anything else. I can't handle lag though....

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Fuck, mine is already tapped 100% of the day all day. Can't say I care who else does because I know EVERYTHING I do is recorded. Being a critical portion of the supply chain of defense sort of makes hiding impossible.

I am still rocking a g4. It has been bombproof. All the choices are underwhelming though now. Sort of like when Steve Jobs died no one for either architecture cared to push the market in any direction. Sort of sad when the most appealing phone on the market is a Huawei. Not sure I can buy a Huawei because I expect it to fail.

Interesting, Pixel isn't even on my list. I expect the 3 will change that.

But then how would Apple continue to be a leading world company
  18. All that shit is a HUGE rip off sold to lemmings that don't know better. Playing beyond 16khz is lost on most people older than 25 since they already jacked their hearing. The nyquist of 16k isn't so hard to get Dynamic range you defined already beyond what is necessary in car. Equipment is nearly nonsense across the board. In my boat I have a volume control, a phone for headunit and a processor. nothing else is needed. The volume control is 4 pots, but that is because it is a wakedboard boat. Overall volume, sub level, in boats, and tower. In a car, install will trump equipment 100% of the time.
  19. I haven't had a headunit in my boat for a long time. My car, I just went from a carpc to a headunit. Something about dropping something a few inches and stiffening it up makes usb connections a nightmare. Don't do it to be rid of analog , do it for something that will really make a difference.

Sleds are summerized, tied down on the trailer and ready to go into storage this week. Yard is cleaned up, a few windows left to clean and still need to pressure wash the patio but otherwise summer is here. That being said, 2 days ago there was someone ice fishing on our lake but he was willing to swim

Was 84 here in the real North today. Kansas City is in the South btw. Of course South is a state of mind as much as it is geographical.

Blasphemy. You can almost build a new system for that.
