    Box size and tuning frequency

There's not any "Rule of thumb" or ratio for enclosure size and tuning. WinISD is also not the best program to use for designing enclosures for the car audio environment. It's not too bad for getting an idea of what the response might be like for a given driver in a given enclosure, but sometimes it's just way wrong and it has no idea what the response will be once it's in the car. I would never go just on what it says but when it comes to the box specs posted by SSA you can bet that the recommended enclosure sizes are correct and ideal for the sub and 3cuft is right at the top of the recommended range. 32hz or 34hz you're probably not going to be able to hear a real noticeable difference between the two. What's the max dimensions you have to work with? I can help you design and draw something up if you want. WinISD is not wrong, just the interpretation that people use of the results is wrong. If you don't bother to measure your cabin gain and apply the correction you can't then assume the response includes it...

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I have been trying since I returned home from the islands. it really is sad the amount of snow that we have gotten over the past 2 winters. MN is supposed to be known for the snow and right now we have less than a 1/2" on the ground Close to 6" in our yard of useless shit. Need another 8+ to make it real.

    Sundown audio. Looking for SQ?

Bet the OP would hate that. And OP, if you actually understood what SQ meant I bet you wouldn't ask for it.

I'm seriously not trying and actually crying. We have none. The last two winters make me sick
  11. Same board as the Polks/PPI/Hertz full range Class D. They do close enough to what they say they'll do. Never heard a complaint about the others.

The V8 in the 3rd gen car was half Ford, half Yamaha. They still do a lot of heads for Toyota, but I'm pretty sure that's because they both own a large percentage of stock in each other. I was told that in reference to the V6.

what'd you get? it's nothing special, just a DK "Cleveland". that way if i don't end up riding it i won't be out much. can't wait to hit the dirt and let it fly. Kids bike? http://www.walmart.c...X-Bike/17012264 thats what i like. i like to hit the dirt trails and 360's, supermans, knack-knacks, table tops, all great stuff off of 6+ft dirt jumps! I always feel like a giant on those bikes, too small, too twitchy. I agree I'm 6'1 tall, weight 260 pounds and I have a 20" Mongoose BMX Bike from Walmart that I got when I was 12....I feel very funny riding it but up until August it was my only form of transportation Ha, I'm 6'7". I just thought it was funny buying a 20" to get in shape. If you want to pedal for that purpose I'd want gears.

Wish they'd put that 8 in something else though. Does rather well in the Noble M600.

They sort of cater to the crowd that only eats conventional, but was happy to oblige me sitting at the bar and gave me tako, saba, unagi, & ika. Was almost shocked I wanted them and even more so that I ordered them in Japanese. Ate their Monday with my mom too. That's when I found out about their "buffet".

As for the bottom end, I could be wrong, but that is what I was told when it was being developed.

With fresh noodles it becomes way better. Also try a dried sausage of some sort instead of the pepperoni. Pepperoni is this blasphemous retardation of something that is naturally awesome. I'm having a hard time processing the concept that pepperoni is NOT awesome. Maybe some time in the future when I grow as a person I can accept these words you typed, but for now I'm just not strong enough... (not that I'm not willing to try fresh noodles and dried sausage instead of pepperoni, because I am) There is a reason we are about the only country in the world that eats pepperoni. It isn't because the pork and the spices that are in it are bad either. Just our chemical lazy way of manufacturing and not being able to deal with a real slow cure. That being said I have seen boutique pepperoni that is made correctly and fuck yeah, it's awesome. All the greazy nasties go away when produced right, the flavors develop further and all around there are no negatives. One hint to a good one. You'll have to cut it yourself and the outside of it won't look savory. I fry it lightly in a pan to extract the grease and blot with half a dozen paper towels, glad to read there is much better available, but curing takes time and time is money so I wouldn't be surprised to learn the US uses chemicals to do it cheap and fast- the main problem with chicken. My food budget is pretty limited these days, but I'll have to keep a look out for "real" pepperoni. I am sure that even your big box grocery has something like this: http://www.igourmet...._Sel&cprod=6038 While not "pepperoni" you'll find it is a yummy alternative. Superb on pizza btw. Thank you for this! I've had authentic Italian sausage, salumi, and pepperoni and they do not compare to ANYTHING commercially available. I normally just eat food, but with these, it was an experience. I'm addicted to it. Tons of variety to choose from. Usually a couple in my fridge.

Actually, the Volvo V8 is a Yamaha engine. That is like calling the V6 SHO a Yamaha engine. Ford/Yamaha partnership that Ford yanked when the chinese bought Volvo from them. It is a Yamaha engine. They're designed and built by Yamaha, so they're Yamaha engines. The Volvo is the same. I could see if Ford had a hand in the design and/or build, but they did not, so I can not call it a Ford. For the Volvo, Ford owned it and pulled it away. The SHO sat on a Ford bottom end.

Speaking of delicious food. Anyone ever had something delicious that you can't pass up in Tulsa OK or Moline (Quad Cities) ROFL. Check out downtown East Dubuque, but don't bring the wife. Louis Armstrong liked it so much he sang about it. So so far over my head... I realize it is an hour drive from Moline, but when you visit you will understand. Pretty much am sure no one on this board gets it. If you listened to a ton of jazz you would though. It's all true.
