Saved to embarrass my German colleagues later.

Damn ur getting old.I was thinking, Damn I've "known" Aaron for a long time.

Yikes Jon, I don't want to trade places with you today.

I don't understand the market segmentation either. Why do all trucks have to be ground clearance biased or 2wd? The whole lack of a Sport Truck segment with AWD/4WD is a market segmentation that is missing. Brings another truck which I am sure embarasses the Tundra in the handling department, the Sport Trac Adrenalin.

Because everything you listed is subjective except the towing numbers and the warranty. Guarenteed Sean won't agree with most of these points. My ML doesn't handle very very well btw. Sure as shit the Tundra handles like a turd, only question is if it is fixable without complete custom parts. Looking SPECIFICALLY in the pick up truck market, and stock not after 5k of suspension upgrades, what have you found that handled better? I ask because IMHO its smoother and more nimble than anything Dodge, chevy, or Ford has come out with in years. J I already said I haven't driven one, but am also sure it handles like a turd. The only full size stock truck I've driven that does handle is my Uncles SRT10. It's a dodge and I am sure it'll make the Tundra feel like it handles like crap. I'd also bet the SS Chevy will too, which is sad because it's equally a turd in the handling spectra. Making big behemoths handle is silly, absurd, dumb, and ridiculous. Exactly why I want to do it.

And that is a very valid reason (about the only) to use a BP box. The rest has been covered, but to rehash there is no golden ratio just a frequency response that is determine, by the driver, the box, and the environment. The first two are easily modeled, the third is up to you. I look forward to seeing the build!

Sounds more like an abuse problem than a warranty claim to me.
-
A small sealed box is the only application for an 8. Huge excursion and power handling are idiotic. If you want output use a larger cone. Absolutely not. First off not everyone wants loud. Second, making cone area smaller doesn't at all fit anything you described.
-
If you aren't limited in the blow through size a standard ported box will yield better results. BP may require a few iterations to nail down.

I scared up at least 100 deer today, 20 bald eagles, a red fox, and a ton of other fauna. A Go Pro would have caught some fun footage. Chasing 6 deer at 26mph down the trail for nearly a half mile was nuts!

I have a bunch of the Rigids. Contractor I use for some stuff has all Makita. His stuff KILLS mine.
-
I should read ahead before posting....nah, guerilla posting is more fun.
-
Makita or Rigid. I hate the Rigid, but the lifetime battery warranty is sweet. Doesn't hold a charge for shit and has minimal power in comparison, but if you are looking at Ryobi's it won't really be a step down. The Mak's are bombproof.

Hmm, almost crashed myself today. Came off a 10' cornice with a lip and proceeded to land on a 4' bump that was nearly a wall. Bottomed the FUCK out of the sled and bounced like a motherfucker but rode it out. For the next hour it took nearly 20mph off my average speed lol. My heart was humpin'. Pounded 215miles today.

Sales guy is begging me to come drive it.

You activate accessory by pressing the start button WITHOUT your foot on the brake.
