    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Compared to the GTS it wins. http://www.autospies.com/news/BMW-X6-destroyed-the-Cayenne-GTS-on-Nurburgring-test-33518/

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I paid $44k for the ML. One that is 3 years newer and for sale atm is $70k. Seriously, wtf!!

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

You really won't go for the ML again?? X6 vs x5M? Is that a fair fight? Also isn't the x6 bucket rear seats so no way you can get the kids in it? No ML. Stupidly I can't afford one under warranty anymore. Not sure what the fuck happened to pricing. Buckets have child seat hold downs. I MUCH prefer how the X6M drives to the X5M. It is a WAY better chassis, so much so I think I'd prefer the standard TT X6 to the X5M.

And even with the Chrysler supplier plan it'll be more...without the performance mods. That being said, I can get a used one and modify it and still lease it. I found the Woodhouse pages on both the Vipers and the dealership, but see no 'street performance' section. Is it all word of mouth or do they advertise?

Ha, just priced a new Citadel. $60 more per month on a 12,000mi lease than my ML is on a 15,000mi. YAY Dodge!

Warranty on a supercharged, brake kit'd, modded suspension car? I guess the non-drivetrain stuff would be covered, lol

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Materials may be similar in the new X, but the layout is WAY better.

More or less what I was going to do to the TBSS or Caddy. Having a hard time swallowing a Chrysler. Although I had a shit experience with a GM, I feel way safer making that gamble than a Chrysler. That being said, if the new explorer had a Coyote it'd be a no brainer. No it wouldn't, you'd not be able to stand the interior. Material wise, it's a twin to the previous gen Explorer. I don't know what the MKT tows, but it's the Explorer with the EcoBoost V6 and Lincon "luxury", so there is your power you want. I see 2010-11s around $30-35K. Even with a Livernois tune I doubt its enough power. The interior I like though.

And we worked on the body, so I know the structural post production fixes. Just not the mechanical.

At least the chassis wasn't new at the same time though.

I don't think that one will only be $45k come December though. Have to be the stupid 5 speed.

If the Lincoln/Ford had the aftermarket bolt on offering of the GMT900 or GMT360 trucks it'd be a different story. Still going to drive the Saab, but my expectations are that a chassis from 2001 no matter the wrapping won't do me right.

Back to where I started I think: X6 X5M SRT8 JGC Pooptastic, waste of a good week of work to I've been so distracted.

Ugh. Seriously hate car shopping. It's ruining my week literally. Really wish Ford would have put a mod in the new X. If I shop with my interior perspective so far only ze Germans win. Then I include my pocketbook and compromise. I really don't want a Jeep. Convinced myself I could live with another GM beast and then drove the Escalade. No push button start, no telescoping wheel, shitty seats, NO headroom. I don't really want something that big though, but getting >450hp in a smaller truck isn't really easy. Aargh.
  19. You are the guy that buys the two small pepperoni pizzas for three bucks more than the large even though it is 15% less food. you are the 1 of the guys that scares away the potential new customer with your attitude problem That was the goal of the post. 8's make NO SENSE. Neither should be purchased for the OP. The DD in particular is absolutely a terrible choice.

Yep, when we used to order pizza every other time in the winter I 'got' to dig the dumb fuck out. My wives friends are notorious for putting their fwd cars into the snowbank trying to go up. Help, I'm slipping and spinning. I'll keep it pinned and let the torque steer throw me into the snow. Ugh. My neighbors shit when I come barreling in with the snowmobile trailer at 20mph.

  25. And therein lies exactly the problem in car audio. In the same space, with the same budget you could have done better no matter the goals. Of course, it was "great" so it'll get recommended when in reality it is a stupid thing to buy. *not saying you were promoting it as a should buy, but using your comments as an example of what plagues 99% of car audio internet forums -- the I love what I have and its the best complex.
