i took the SRT8 out into the country and ripped around country blocks. 3 digits regularly and some mild drifting in a few corners. That sales guy was nice though so I did it again with him in the ML. I bet you and Aaron would be a blast to go driving with. I am thinking you both have similar driving styles. My biggest problem is the speed limit. I am a slow driver compared to you. I don't drive fast at all. Me neither, but if my car were faster I would.

Sitting in the new CTS-V sort of made me want to go for a drive again.

I "could" get a car now instead of a truck. If we move first it is even more feasible. I can't store my boat here so I need it to tow it up the farm. If we move to lake front it can hang out in my yard. Then it is only the snowmobiles and the wives XC90 can yank those. I do want a bigger snow trailer though that will put it really too close to it's limit for me.

I have a standing offer from the Ferrari dealership to demo a 458. Have to fly to Detroit to do so though. Worst is I will be there next week and don't have time to go. I'd like warmer pavement though anyways.

There are a few Lambo's sitting at Morrie's I've contemplated going for a rip in. WAY more time commitment to set something like that up.

While in the Jeep he kept repeating, "Holy Cow This Thing Pulls". Then he shit even more when I gave him a ride. Jeep wins 0-10 as it's raw, but the 5 speed kills it where the most fun is to be had. The ML is downright nasty from 20-80 which is really my preference. The BM'er is smooth but faster than either. Amazing how different the three are.

I normally go drive fun cars all summer, but after driving the Rossion I am not sure I even care to anymore. Found one I could have bought for $60k too which fucking killed me to go not buy. "High" mileage at 15k, but rofl if the motor goes in that car it's a get to, not a have to.

I drive cars all the time. EVERY dealer in town has me in their system. Inconveniently for them I only buy used at a value price and am extremely particular about the exact car and price I'll pay well before I go shopping.

You can. I just call them before, have them pull it up and be ready and go at lunch time. Drive for 30min and get back to work. No big deal to me. I can find a reason to share with the sales guy for not buying it rather easily. Today it was not enough headroom. Re-sat in an Escalade to make sure. Won't fit. Funny since the dealer sold Derrick Williams 6'10" T-Wolves one last week. Not sure how the fuck he fits. Probably with a gangsta lean which is ABSURD in an Escalade since it doesn't have a telescoping wheel. Stupidest thing ever. No push button start either and they are $10k more than the Lincoln which drives nicer. Lincoln seats are way better too. The rest of the interior in it can eat me though.

Drove a Saab 9-7x 5.3i (not the Aero since I'd have to fly to do that) and OMG what a completely different car to the Trailblazer SS. Chassis is better, NVH is WAY FUCKING better, and it doesn't feel like a complete POS on the inside. 2007 and still had touchscreen NAV and a nice heads up as well. Getting a mid-mile Aero for $15k is a ton of truck for the money. Not sure I can stomach the downgrade. I am having ML buyers remorse now as it has me very soured and particular.

Amazing.Indeed. $50 here for 25/1.4/27msIt's nothing compared to your salaries...Don't use mine as an average, ouch.No kidding Sean can barely pinch 2 pennies. Or rather 2 german sports cars. Same thing. I'm a workaholic. National Merit Scholar, went one of the top 3 liberal arts colleges in the country, have been a slut for work since I left, and enjoy it. Sort of throws the curve off a bit.

Recommendation for Loudspeakers on Double Decker Pontoon Boat
///M5 replied to dropkick13's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I'd put two poles up way front of the pontoon that allow you to use the rigging mounts for the pa speakers. Aim them at the back of the boat, one on the left one on the right. You'll never have to re-aim anything then. Portable and large sub enclosures aren't really one and the same. You could build a sonotube sub and make it somewhat portable. As for the volume control, you are in scary land here if the input to your amps isn't real close to the source. Being portable which means unplugable I wouldn't want a bunch of drinkers running around tripping on that wire. I'd be sure to spend time running permanent wiring and put the volume attenuator near the source. Perhaps a box or something it all bolts into with a dock so no one unplugs/plugs it. When I was your age, I bought a 30' Sea Ray for the same purpose. Was the loudest on the lake -

Had a dream that I took some old body and slapped it on a custom AWD chassis for my daily driver last night. It was sweet; however, I don't know what the body/interior was.

I power nap every night.

Recommendation for Loudspeakers on Double Decker Pontoon Boat
///M5 replied to dropkick13's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Music straight from the cell phone won't happen. You need some processing. That being said a $100 miniDSP with a volume knob would kick ass for that. Other option is to make sure that your pro audio tops can cross themselves and buy a sub amp that also has a crossover. Then you can split and balance indepently. You may find that the amplifiers however do not like the input from your cell phone since it will be very low. If you have hiss you'll need a line driver as well. In my boat I have a ported Xcon 15" with 1kW on tap. It makes the boat hump, but if I were doing what you are I'd take it up a step further and at least do an 18". I'd probably build the sub box into the cab/cabin or at least be flush with it and keep it semi-permanently on board. The highs I'd put on pillars coming out the front of the boat up by the points of the pontoons aiming backwards. Something with a rather directional horn instead of a widespread will also be better. The best modular approach is to do the sub/amp/passive volume knob/and some used pro-audio monitors. If you don't love the monitors your first upgrade will be to sell those and get bigger ones. They really will not work at all without a sub. Believe me. I know how to get girls to remove their swimsuits on a boat and load isn't the goal, you NEED bass. Of course, a linedriver may be the first update if it hisses hot and heavy. **No matter what you do, I would highly suggest an analog or any volume control in between your phone and the amplifiers. Other people WILL screw with your play lists and volume and without the extra protection in between you will end up with blown shit. In my boat I have three zones (wakeboard boat). Z1 is the in boats. Z2 are the tower speakers. Z3 is the sub. Each have their own volume control. I also use a 4th volume knob for overall. I have no headunit either as I use an Android tablet connected to a 1Tb hard drive of music. My system was similar in price to yours, but I'm building my speakers for integration which makes it a bit more cost effective. You need to get there by buying some used monitors. Start shopping -
When the SHO came out, a guy on Corral put a tune on it and was running 12.70.Tune and a few bolt on's they are in the 12.3's now. Anyone building the 6F55 trannies?

I can't wait to get somewhere that snows! Look on the bright side, it's time to clean the boat! Umm, not quite yet. Soon, but the 21" of ice atm out my door make it tough to put the dock in.
