So if you release the AMG, its yours at the end of the three? I know you are bored with it, but why not just do that? Get your house on the lake, then buy your supercar. Yes. My concern with the AMG is the same as the Porsche. Maintenance cost. I know the potential for disaster with what I have and generally feel that a very high mileage Porsche > Mercedes > AMG, so it was a thought.

By all means. I like that one from the list of others for sale atm.
-
I like that color combo and option list though. Only non-black I'd own
-
Appreciate the offer. Not interested yet only because my lease isn't done until December. Just wondering how much of my own dough I'll spend maintaining it....or one like it. At the same time, I could release my AMG and in 3 years I own it. Same scenario though from a fix it cost. Currently I have 75k miles and it will be 85k in December.

I don't buy anything without an extensive maintenance history and a particular owner

First year - 04 - is a wreck. I am only interested in 06 and up for that reason. Screen isn't that big of a deal IF it is easily removed. I'd prefer a Windows 8 carpc anyways

No warranty. Work would lease it for me and at the end of the lease I get to keep it. ALL repairs would be my responsibility thoughWeird that the screen is non functional. They aren't going to include "broken" in a sales pitch. Just to be clear it isn't that exact car as I can't buy until December, but the idea of getting a $25k beast that in three years is mine for only the price of repairs.
-
Then I'd have them lease me a car.

Okay, someone talk me out of this: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?endYear=2006&zip=55391&keywordPhrases=turbo&sellerTypes=b&mmt=%5BPOR%5BCAYENNE%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&modelCode1=CAYENNE&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&makeCode1=POR&startYear=2004&showcaseOwnerId=0&firstRecord=101&numRecords=100&searchRadius=0&listingId=301241681&Log=0 No warranty. my experience with those is meh. On particular for Adrian's need playing only up to 300hz. For the $ they are nice but I'd be more interestd in them with a budget large format tweet and an el cheapo passive for a sleeper comp set. That being said they are better mids than I've ever seen in a sub $200 comp set...maybe even $300 What specific 6.5-7" driver do you recommend based on the ops requirements that he listed in his opening statement? It was for dual 7's that weren't deep or something that took the same space. I've already offered up my MLi's which are definitely better midbasses than the Silver Flutes and a 10" option that will kill them. There are other 7's as well. Exodus Anarchy is a helluva midbass for a 7 with under 4" (more than 3 yes) of mounting depth. Front stage wise though I generally would always prefer a single driver for any frequency range.

You should. It would give you something to do when you can't ride your sled. Currently have a family summer toy that is more age appropriate for my boys

Do chill's posts go way off the screen for anyone else?

Looks good

That is a frequency and goal dependent question. If you are asking if you can hear a loudness difference it is very different than measuring one.

What is the logic in spending more time and money instead of just buying some from someone has already put that time in? Do you really need that many that you think you can amortize your investment better this way?

Sean - glad you are okay. Couldn't agree more with the sentiments on adapting your car to take the load though. The amount of engineering that was put into it in the first place is beyond comprehension, garage modifying that the way you describe will never get you anywhere near the safety or capability as it was stock. Nothing in the car was designed with that load in mind.

My wives uncle rides a cruiser for his only form of transportation...and he lives in MN. We are still getting snow today.

If you we're down here yes. I despise chain Italian food. Agreed. I have yet to find ONE Italian food chain worth a damn. I've at least found one good Tex-Mex, American, or Chinese chain. So which are the "good" chains? Nothing you'd be interested in, I'm afraid. Except for Capital Grille, maybe. Capital Grille isn't worth the $$. PF Chang's is a chain I will eat at, but only selectively from the menu.

<- has a set of Mach 5's you can have. I know you used quotes, but if you use the TB my recommendation from a 2 second look was to actually seal it.

Absolutely not. Seriously impossible. Nothing your eyes do can affect the sound waves. Your perception perhaps, but that is a choice.
