Oh, and J don't take whatever suit in your "size" as they vary a shit ton from manufacturer to manufacturer. Goal is to find a jacket that doesn't require much tailoring. Should allow you to move your arms in the shoulders but NOT bunch at all in the back. Waist should let you breathe and move, but be as fitted as possible. Sleeves vary in length, but normally showing a little of your shirt is appropriate.

Exhausted over here. Built a sink base in the laundry room, changed a shit ton of hinges and did a bunch of other get ready to sell BS today. Super awesome feel getting projects done though. House is getting painted on the inside this weekend too. 15 gallons of paint, sounds like a party.

Crap, thought you said 44L in which case I'd buy it. lol. Knew you said L which already surprised me.

And just like with your door speakers that won't be the cure. You need to stop guessing with cone area and power and think that you have a solution. It is simple, but not that simple.

And Congrats Adrian. Not sure if I said that earlier.

Boss suits are put together really well. List for $600-800 and regularly can be had at the Rack for $300 with quality that will outlast everything else being discussed here by a mile.

I buy Boss dress pants since they are the only ones slim enough for me. $100 a pop (at the Rack) but with free tailoring and for the quality it's a steal. Have to spend at least $400 on a pair of custom pants to be even close.

I've been busy bit trying to keep up. I got a $200 works suit from Jos A Bank and spent about $60-$80 at a good tailor to get it fitted just right and I love it. It doesn't match the material of my $150 dress pants but it is nice. PS do they make wool khakis or similar? I love my grey dress pants but all my khakis are just cotton. I prefer the feel of the woolies. The plan has been to go see Jos A Bank or men's warehous sometime soon when it's a buy one get one sale and get a new suit or two, and some other things. I just want to know that my closet will be filled with clothes to be prepared for almost any occasion. J The works collection is $200 daily. The rest are normally around $800 and there best deals are buy 1 get 3 free. However, I don't see any reason to buy 4 suits at one time myself. But, I think that you can go in with a friend and each get 2 as long as they are of similar price. Hmmm I'll have to take time and go look soon. I may not 'need' 4 suits, but if 3 are free it's rather hard to beat. As in Hugo Boss? That's who makes the suit I have out grown and need to let go. Got it band new for about 20 bucks at a goodwill. It had never been altered. J what size and color?

Kenwood vs Pioneer SQ and Ease of Use/ SQ setup
///M5 replied to Trent Hari's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Err, not really. Sort of. Even better to bridge your amp on the fronts and sell the rears. It WILL be an improvement in all aspects. -
Did you tell him you wanted to think about? I'd still counter offer. Yes I am an asshole
-
Or pickup a Boss quality suit from Nordstrom Rack. Sign up for a Nordstrom direct removal from your bank account card and get free tailoring.
-
You are destined to fail. If you blow RLp18's then everything else isn't going to fare well either. Add to that you obviously don't give a shit about SQ. Single is a problem too.
-
You could have a voltage problem, you just don't see it. You are clipping the hell out of your amp if you are hearing distortion. That or your box sucks. Of course the third option is both. And there is no such thing that you think your amp has. And yes there was a ton of clipping you just didn't hear it. Lastly, you keep stating SQ/SPL. Stop it. You have no idea what either term means. Read the threads in my signature. For a sub they are exact opposites. Super peaky box or super smooth frequency response. You CANNOT have both. You must compromise. Doesn't mean that an SQ setup can't be loud without compromise either, but it is FAR from an SPL setup.

Kenwood vs Pioneer SQ and Ease of Use/ SQ setup

PRS80 won't do anything for the "surround sound effect". The only way you'll get that is if you buy music recorded in surround sound. Considering what you have is a 2 channel recording that is basically how you need to play it back. Mathematically you are confused as well. 2 speakers with the same power as 4 will be the same overall volume. Double the power or speakers same thing. Only problem is when you double the speakers you create an eq and time alignment nightmare creating all sorts of interference and which changes the levels and really destroys all semblance of quality. And no, you don't lose 40% of your sound unless your setup is seriously jacked. Add to that if you truly want localizable sound from the back then you absolutely aren't interested in "SQ". Not even close. -

4 tweeters is ALWAYS a bad idea. Mids can be used for other things. Either way, you aren't gaining "volume" by adding rears, actually detracting. -
It may. If it hides a problem from you and you ignore your ears which it sounds like you are prone to then yes. Remove it fast.

Usually the truth works. Why aren't you interested? For now I don't know the pay difference. Cons 1. small vs large firm = a bit more stress but since it's an internal product it is still less than outsourcing. 2. Downtown location vs 5 minutes away. I'd have to pedal ~20 minutes to work. Pros 1. Working with very talented people 2. Working in the automotive realm and being the only one with a strong understanding of the technical field = opportunity for growth. If the pay difference is more than $300 the distance is not a problem. Sounds to me like you are interested. What are you refusing?

SQ 4ch amp 450$ max
///M5 replied to anonim's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
If your overall budget is $950+450 there are some major improvements that can be made. As for the amp, they will all be fine. Lots of Zed love here for good reasons. -

Front/rear doesn't matter. No reason to ever have 4 tweeters in a pickup. Hell no reason to have 4 in a Suburban. -

Oh, the autotune sucks. One other comment of course. With functionality you can kiss ease of setup out the window. That holds true for any headunit/processor. -

You should NEVER shop for anything without a goal in mind. Is it a better headunit? Sure. Will it help your install? We can't tell because we don't know what help you need. Install does sound like a mess though. There is absolutely no reason to have 2 tweeters on each side up front. It won't be any louder and it'll surely sound an ass ton worse. Time to take a step back and really figure out what you want to do and why. -

While it is fun to build furniture when you hardly see it and no one will ever having my obsessive finishing desire can be squelched a bit.

Finish work is the bitch. Part of the reason I did it myself so I could finish the full sheets of ply and then just touch up after assembly. Obviously it meant I didn't sand flush on the face boards, but they are painted and it looks pretty good anyways. I know I "could" have.

Custom cabinets for the same space would have set me back more than 2x.
